I was transferred to Heritage Sports from Bet Jamaica. Deposited $2,500 cash (WU) There was a 30% "Bonus Play" bonus with a 3X rollover. I used the $2,500 last weekend & won ~$3,000. I did not use anything from the Bonus Play bonus. I requested a $2,500 payout from customer service. Was told I could not recieve a withdrawal until I hit the 3X rollover amount of $7,500 wagered. I told them to cancel my bonus for a Bonus Play & send a check for the $2,500. I was told I could not cancel the bonus (even though I never used it). This would not of happened if it was a Spiro book.

3x rollover isn't badat all...

IMHO, I think they aren't doing anything wrong. With that said, email Wil and maybe he will be able to help you resolve it

Don't know Hertiages rules, but my guess is, if you didn't want the bonus, you should have said so upfront not after you started betting and won.
Otherwise it is bad business for them. Think about it.

Sorry, I put this in the other thread by accident:

You are basically there already, don't give up the Free money!

If you deposited $2500 +$750FP = 3250 x 3 = The rollover is 9750?

How much rollover do you have left to meet? Approx 7000?

The freeplay is worth (at 75% no risk-8 $93.75 3tm parlay method if allowed) $562. Putting the $750FP in action would reduce your RO to 6250. And then your cash balance would then be at $6062 (using the $5500 figure of $2500 dep +$3K in winnings last weekend)

Meeting the 6250 RO is easy with your $6062 balance.

Heck, you could take Opposite sides to make that 6250 figure, paying $312.50 in -110 vig. and you would still make $250 from that freeplay (562-312). (I wouldn't do this, just wanted to show you that you are already in the money with the FP bonus)

I thought it would be $7500, wouldn't it. Isn't a rollover based on what you deposited, not your deposit + their free money to you?

I'm glad you must not make many deposits :) as its pretty much the industry standard to include the bonus given when figuring ot the RO requirement some books also include the deposit fees in there as well. And then different books have different rules on what counts and what doesn't count towards rollover requirements as well (ie. favorites only up to a certain m/l number of teams in a parlay, etc.)

You should not have accepted the bonus. You cant have it both ways. Just because you didn't use it doesn't mean you didn't accept it. If it was in your account you should have immediately contacted Heritage and told them you dont want the bonus and you want the ability to withdraw your funds at any time. Once you made a bet you took possession of the bonus therefore you must roll over the deposit, fees and bonus 3 times.......common sense dude.

Just curious, Don't Vegas sportsbettors still qualify for comps based on their action?

your theories are right, howver, i would warn him to be leary of doing this, as Heritage specifically says in their rules that playing "both sides of the same game" in order to reach a rollover will constitute forfeiting the bonus, and any moneys won from the bonus and deposit.....* something like that

ok, i had to different rules kinda mixed up, but here are 2 that apply to this case....

Betting both sides of the same game to accelerate the rollover process is considered a violation of our bonus rules. Any wagers placed on both sides will be excluded from the rollover calculations.

81. If you do not break a deposit on which you received a bonus into at least three relatively equal wagers, the bonus and any winnings can be rescinded. Your next deposit will not be eligible for the Progressive Re-load Bonus. Your maximum reload bonus will be 10%.

82. Acceptance of any bonus offered by Heritage Sports constitutes agreement to the conditions applicable with each offering. If you are unclear or require further clarification, contact our Client Service Department prior to accepting and/or making use of any bonus.

Looks like I am in the same boat as you are.

I am a transfer from The Greek and I put in the WU max (so I was told) of $2850 plus 43 in fees. They "gave" me 30% Bonus Play ($855). Being conservative I put the entire Bonus Play on the G Men at -340. This generated a gain of appr. $250.

Now because of the "free " $250 I am forced to give them over 9k in action. I hardly seems worth it.

Next time I will tell them to keep their "free" play anf just play off what I put in myself

I am a big weekend to weekend player and do multiple transactions with books each week. I always decline the bonuses ahead of my first deposit. Never have any problems. I am not sure the details of Heritage but I assume that you can decline the option to have a bonus with almost every book?
