GLENDALE, Ariz.—The Arizona Cardinals are unsure if quarterback Kevin Kolb will recover from a foot injury in time to play against his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Kolb missed Week 9's overtime victory over the St. Louis Rams. John Skelton started in Kolb's place, and that could be the situation again Sunday in Philadelphia.
Kolb has looked forward to this game and joked last week that he expected to be booed by Eagles fans. He spent four seasons with the Eagles and was traded to the Cardinals in July. Kolb has turf toe, a mid-foot sprain and a bone bruise from the Big Red's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
If he can play, he will start, even though the Cardinals won with Skelton starting.
Skelton passed for 222 yards, a career high, and more importantly, did not commit a turnover. But the offense scored one touchdown and Skelton missed on opportunities to get the ball to receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
