highly doubt the yankees would just lay down and do not forget the sux have to win and I am sure the O's will try there best to stop them.

Of those reasons, only the first one makes any sense.

Rays needing to win doesn't matter, they aren't going to play any harder.
Yanks will let them win to hurt Boston?? They're professionals, they play to win. Yankees still have incentive to win.

Exactly! They win just one game today they lock up a playoff spot! If boston does not make the playoffs it will be due to the fact that they have imploded down the stretch not because the yankees let the rays win lol

I'm sorry for The Loss....The Rays Led Until The Bottom of The 8th and The Starting Pitching and Defense Was Stellar. But Again, I was Wrong...It Lost/I Lost...and THIS is Exactly WHY This Was MY 11th Play Of The Whole Baseball Season....Out Of Close To 6000 Games. You Just Never Ever Know in This Game!! Again, I Apologize!
