At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: San Francisco Giants (1.96, -104) and Los Angeles Dodgers (2.02, +102)

San Francisco is solely focused on trying to earn the NL Wild Card spot at this point, sitting in third place and entering tonight’s contest 3 1/2 games back of the Atlanta Braves. “We’re in the mode right now where we got to win every game,” commented Giants pitcher Ryan Vogelsong. “The mood is try and win every night.” The Giants have been doing a good job of doing just that, winning 11 of their last 15 games. Offensively, the team has picked up its production, scoring the third-most runs in the NL this month. San Francisco is 12-6 in September and 41-24 when playing division opponents.

Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner is 12-12 with a 3.21 ERA in 31 games this season and the club has won 12 of his last 16 starts. The left-hander is coming off a 9-1 road win over the Colorado Rockies last time out, giving up just a single run (zero earned) and six hits over seven frames. Bumgarner is looking to even his road record, entering with a 5-6 mark and 3.07 ERA in 15 outings. In six career appearances (five starts) versus the Dodgers, he is 4-1 with a 2.97 ERA, including an 8-1 home win two starts back (5 IP, ER).
