Tampa Bay vs NYY....Thursday 9/22

Tampa Bay is laying a bit of juice, -142 at my book, but Yankees just clinched and may have a bit of a letdown today. Several starters may get the day off after a DH and clinching effort. Nieman a solid pitcher as they also look to avoid a sweep. Colon 0-3 with a ERA of nearly 5.00 since his last win 8 starts ago. Nieman pitching well lately, this line may move upwards approaching game time.

It takes a lot to get me on a play laying this kiind of juice, but Tampa Bay looks solid today as they look to avoid a sweep.

Nieman is not pitching because he is a little sore and stiff. Matt Moore will start.

JUst saw that Matt Moore is making his ML debut. I love pitchers making their ML debut, but usually they are a nice dog. Probably a pass for now.

I really like Baltimore tonight though, as well as SF. Cheap price for SF with the better pitcher and swinging the bat well.

yanks playing a lot of backups tonight

and they never hit pitchers they havent seen before...BUT a lot of these guys saw matt moore in the minors soooooo well see

Thanks Varkey. I ended up pulling the trigger, the price drifted up a bit and I realized if I waited any longer the price was only going to get worse. The game played out as advertised, a blow out for Tampa Bay. Hope you got on board.

It was people thinking they were getting a bargain with NNY at plus money. This despite them resting players and having clinched the night before.

Same thing with Philly all week, people continued to hammer them despite having nothing to play for. Manuel even came out and said he was resting some players and wouldn't overtax the starters. Sometimes people see only what they want to see.

ehh dont look at the box score, his defense cost him this game, errors and miss played balls... you cant say colon sucks he has had a great year, the last few starts even girardi said he is just trying to get him some innings get his pitchers crisp for the playoffs, yanks have things locked up he was just out there throwing fastballs... he has been good all year

yep not great but hes been solid...cant say he sucked like hughes or burnett have...yanks won 95 games and the division and colon was their #2 most of the year, he couldnt have been that bad

anyway id bet against the yanks tonight too even tho it looks like a washout, id bet against them

for a 40 year old to come back and pitch the way he has ill take it, i didnt say he was cy young i said he had a good YEAR, not good september or august, i said GOOD YEAR.. i can care less how he pitched last nights...
