Yanks and Philly....seriously

Just wondering what some thoughts were on these two games tonight.....getting the yanks at +205....with Cano, A rod, grandy, jeter all in the lineup...I know they are not just going to lay down. Who would you rather have in the playoffs- the streaking Rays, or the garage pitching of the RedSox...I think the yanks are here to play

And the Phils....Lee at -135? and Phi has ALL their starters in....umm the Phils would love nothing more than to knock the Braves out of the playoff picture.

Delgado for Atlanta is actually one of their top pitching prospects, but really needs another year in the Big Leagues to mature and season. Kid throws extremely hard and is capbale of several no hit innings, but then will have that period where he struggles with his control and walks several in one inning. Delgado should have his share of K's tonight but if Philly can capitalize when he hits his BB period then Philly should be able to scratch out enought runs for a ML win with Lee stiffling the Braves non existent offense.

I am hoping that he is trying to get into playoff shape tonight! lets go Philly....

you dont know what you're getting with the yanks, their starter wont go much more than 3 innings, good luck with whatever you choose to do!

NYY are starting Noesi, he is a 3 inning middle reliever, NYY used 8 relievers yesterday, most of them more than one inning.
They have virtually nobody available in the bullpen for tonight's game.
Normally this would not be a problem, but innings eater CC Sabathia is not starting, and Pettitte and Moose are retired.
So, at best, Noesi goes 5 innings, leaving 4 innings unaccounted for.
You could have the peanut vendor come in to relieve, but since the game is in Florida, I don't think he'll help.

Of course I'm being a wise ass, it's who I am, it's what I do, but seriously, Shields is 8 inning guy, TB needs it, NYY has no pitching, and really doesn't care if it wins.

4 words.

Don't play this game.
