Dudes,
My apologies on yesterday's Red Sux macabre, my database spit the play out like an unexperienced college chick giving her first blowjob. In my heart, I wanted the Yankees to dismantle Boston and a 6-2 victory wasn't enough. Nonetheless, a win by the Yankees is still a small victory to me, but a larger blemish to my posting record. I'll accept this...today.
Moving ahead today, I'm turning my attention to Minute Maid Park, I have to ask what the fuckbthe oddsmakers are drinking here. The Cardinals must win tonight, in fact, just winning may not be enough, they need to do all in the power to sweep the Ass-tros. Even then, time will tell if it will be enough.
Will Albert Puljos return for 2012? Tony LaRussa may be wishing he was at a swingers club and they were all doing the bonedance off The Arc then contemplate next season without his slugger. Chris Carpenter will return, but will it be enough?
I'm stimulated here ever so slightly, sure Wandy is the Houston slinger, and for a team in last place, is this enough to notch a win against the Redbirds?
My database, although wrong yesterday has the birds favored between a -175-185 clip. This does include the talent bs talent. Tack on the playoff scenario situation and the public knowing along with the rest if the world that the Birds nuts are on the line for a definite "situational" matchup, the database inflates to a 205-215 chalk for St. Louis.
Ok, so what the fuck is wrong with this picture? I feel the Cardinals are the play based only with them being in a must win situation, yet feel ever so different about the line.
All teams this time of year relish the fact they can play spoiler at home against an inner divisional rivalry, especially against a club that has a rich success of winning in recent years. Houston has nothing to lose tonight or this week even if they are swept, I just don't see it.
What version of Garcia will show up tonight, the early season Cy stud or the piled out Linda Blair version tossing meatballs down the center?
What is enough? Will this be enough?
Trust me, this will not be a 2-1 game tonight, the Cardinals will try to bring it tonight and I look for at minimal the same from the Stros.
10* Womb Stretcher on St. Louis/Houston over 7.5 runs tonight.
Regardless of the outcome of the side, will it be enough for LaRussa and Co.?
I lean Houston but will not credit my record on the side, the coin is on the total.
As always my fellow ball broth spurters, best of luck, and if you choose St. Louis on the side, ask yourself, will it be enough to gain the victor.
