At the time of this writing, the following Match Odds/Moneyline were available: Texas Rangers (2.14, +114) and Los Angeles Angels (1.83, -120)

Rangers are 37-17 versus division opponents, while the Angels are 0-4 when opening a series.

Texas matched club record with 52 wins at Rangers Ballpark Sunday with a convincing 12-5 win over the Seattle Mariners. “It’s been an incredible summer for the fans, it’s probably the hottest summer of my life,” commented Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler, as the team played in numerous games over the century mark. The Rangers also produced a club-record 15 wins against the Mariners in securing the victory. The club has already won the American League West division and hopes to end its rivals’ chances of reaching the postseason. Texas is 41-37 on the road this year and 16-6 in September.

Rangers starting pitcher C.J. Wilson is 16-7 with a 2.97 ERA in 33 starts this season and the club has proven victorious in four of his last five outings. He is coming off a no-decision effort, giving up two runs and five hits over six innings in a 3-2 road win over the Oakland Athletics. The left-hander has allowed two earned runs or less in nine of his last ten starts since the beginning of august, going 6-2 with a 2.03 ERA in that span. Wilson is 2-2 with a 2.81 ERA in five starts against the Angels this year, splitting a pair of decisions at Angel Stadium, producing a 0.60 ERA in those outings.
