Yankees have already said in the news they want Boston out of the playoffs, and since the wild card is tied between Tampa and Boston. They will throw this game and the next, kicking Boston out of the playoffs.

    Big bet tonight

    Tampa

Dont rely on what these fools say in the news. If the news is not an associated press report I have it go out the other ear.

By the way. Yankees win tonight.

wow, yeah the news said they gave up?

    nunez
    granderson
    cano
    arod
    tex
    swish
    posada
    martin
    gardner

also girardi said in the 'news' and on his pregame presser that

    logan/valdes in the 6th
    Soriano tonight in the 7th
    robertson in the 8th
    mo in the 9th

doesnt matter if the yanks are up 19-1 or down 15-4 he is getting those 3 guys work at the end so that is pretty much a lockdown back 3 innings so its a 6 inning game tonight...we will see who wins i hope yanks lose i dont want sox in playoffs

but you cant bet against the yanks when they have those studs pitching at the end

If the Yankees knew they could get Boston in the first round, they'd be trying their asses off.

Because it's like having a bye into the LCS. If the Red Sox do get in, either Detroit or Texas will waltz into the next round.

I highly doubt anything in the postseason is a "waltz."
