Rangers Tt under not a bad play. I just hope we can get rays tt under .5 runs although it would prob be juiced up, jk. Seriously though, rays can't hit our pitchers and Washington isn't going to let Longoria beat him like the careless yanks did. Not enough firepower for the rays in this one, great story though

when nova, CC, noesi started (yanks won all 3 games) and then clinched the AL east that night......longo went 1-10 in those 3 games against the yankees A team......
yanks minor leaguers play and longo goes off.......... but 1-10 in the 3 out of 4 games the yankees took when the games meant something.... but good try

When you are playing a meaningful game against the rays there is one guy that you don't let beat you which is Evan Longoria, the rest of them aren't that scary. relax man.... that was a meaningless game not a meaningful game but OK..when you have pena, laird, chavez, nunez, golson, dickerson, romine proctor playing against a playoff team you think thats a meaningful game? who cares, let him throw meatballs, it did not matter to the yankees, it was a guy who will not be on the postseason roster trying to blow fastballs by their best hitter, it was stupid of him but girardi isnt going to go out there and say hey bud listen we need this game lets go, drop in a splitter........ it didnt matter
when it mattered yanks won 9 games against rays and lost 5, when it mattered in that big 4 game series longo went 1-10
i wasnt talking about the yanks being in a meaningful game last night.......thats why i said in a meaningful game which is what tomorrow is, the rangers wont be letting the rays biggest threat beat them when he is surrounded by guys who havent hit well this year.......i agree if i was girardi last night when the game got into extras i would have told the pitchers to go out there and throw fastballs and lets get on the plane
i'm not saying its the wrong play, but why the over? 2 lefties pitching which is a must in arlington, prob gonna see moore for 5 inngs then a bunch of relievers. i can see the over if your reason is the rangers bats are unbelievably hot right now, which they are or if you were just going against the 22 yr old matt moore that shutout an almost all rookie yankee team for 5 innings in a day game after they clinched the division the night before, but if i liked the over i'd only be playing the rangers tt over cause you cant count on rays bats to score runs and if the game goes over it means the rangers scored 4+. cj could very well shut them completely down, he is the best home ballpark pitcher in baseball winning % wise, so i'm gonna suck it up and lay the -179.

good pitching beats hitting..... and for rangers fans in game one at least.....texas has the best pitching, and the best bats (by a long shot), best base runners and the best defense in this game.
THE ABSOLUTE ONLY THING THE RAYS HAVE GOING FOR THEM IN THIS GAME IS THEY HAVE A PITCHER GOING THAT THE RANGERS HAVENT SEEN. RANGERS HAVE THE SAME MOMENTUM GOING THE RAYS HAVE, RANGERS HAVE WON 6 STRAIGHT AND THEY JUST WON A HUGE GAME AS WELL.
