In toppling Virginia Tech, Clemson became the first ACC team to beat three ranked opponents three weeks in a row. This was the most resounding of those three wins, as the Tigers registered 323 yards against the nation's fourth-rated defense while holding the Hokies to 231 yards total.

I wish Clemson well, but they might be have a letdown next week versus BC, if you can get a nice price, BC may very well be worth a play.

Teams that come off three weeks of top ranked teams usually stub their tow the fourth week.

Keep an eye on the opening number in the BC / Clemson game this coming Saturday.

Bill--just running My Numbers, which may not mean ALOT, I Have CLEMSON-11.5 Next Week vs BC.

Its a surprise for sure. Clemson is never a "weak sister" but i dont think anyone saw them being top 10 material this year.

However to be fair when it comes to teams say #7 thru # 25 and the "also recieved votes" teams , i doubt any would be a huge favorite over any other...

So while surprising its hardly shocking as they could go all the way any year the breaks go their way....

LSU on the other hand has beaten a #3, #16 and #25 although in 3 of 4 weeks, they took a break this weak for a weak sister but jump right back in next week with a BCS-NC preview game with Fla.....After this it appears that 3 of their last 6 games will be against ranked opponents provided Auburn makes the top 25 by then. So 7 of their 12 games will be against top 25....3 will be against top 5. Then 1 more in the SEC Championship game. Making a total of 8 of 13 against ranked teams.

No disrespect to Boise fans but let them play 7 of 11 against ranked teams and i doubt they have enough players left to play the championship game much less the BCS title game...
