Remember this. The last time Carp faced them howard did not play. He changes everything in a game from regards to a pitcher facing this lineup. They will score plenty of runs tonight. I do think Lee will get hit a little, but overall it won't be enough to keep up with the Phillies offensive massacare they are going to put on until they win it all. THEY WILL NOT LOSE A GAME IN THE POSTSEASON.

I absolutely love people like you who have no idea what baseball is about and actually think teams are unbeatable on any given day. This isn't football, or Boxing, or high school wrestling. The Phillies won over 100 games. The nationals were under .500. The Nationals won the season series. It's not who's the better team, it's who plays better that day. That's baseball.

Every sport is about who plays better that day... Lol

More or less. The better teams in other sports are more capable to win if they don't play well vs shit teams, though. The Phillies are supposedly one of the best teams in a long time, and they had a .630 winning percentage this year. 8 NBA teams did that last year. 7 NFL teams. Happens every year in other sports. Not so in baseball.

Tuff lose by the philies. I would make the same bet again. Thess12345 I've been in the business for a long time. I understand the better team doesn't win every night. I just really belived this team would not lose a postseason game this year. I was wrong. Oh well I move on. Guess you never been wrong before. My bad.

I've been wrong...but I've never made predictions that pan out maybe once a century's worth of playoffs. Especially when the team I'm betting went 3-6 vs their first round opponent in the regular season and, if they make the WS, will have a daunting task vs any of the 4 playoff AL teams. No matter how much faith I have in my team...really don't think predicting them going 11-0 vs playoff teams is very smart.

Stand up guy, unlike most, the dude came into his thread after the loss.

However, I do bet you want this back though .

THEY WILL NOT LOSE A GAME IN THE POSTSEASON.

Shake it off, new games today.

Now, if Phillyman (who I like) wants to send some Philly action my way in the next round, I'll be glad to eat it if it's Brews/Phils, I really think Brews match up very well against Philly, and should beat them in 6 or 7.

Phils/Brews has the potential to be the best NLCS in a decade or two.

I might be a bit biased...but the '04 NLCS that gets overlooked a lot becasue of the Red Sox comeback was amazing. Great play after great play, a ton of hall of famers on the field, and pitchers going toe to toe.

your basing this off 1 series, when the brewers were coasting to the finish line, I am a big brewers fan, but that series means nothing right now, brewers look and sound determined again (alot like their big run right after the all star break)
