Yanks have already won this game. Over/Under is the only thing in doubt.
Detroit had to bring their bats against AJ. They didnt.

Yanks would have HFA and an ace. But Texas beat them last year and no fear of beating them again.
Texas has pitching depth
Hitting is about the same

Texas just cant seem to win in Detroit though. But their lineup is less imposing.

I guess Detroit but NYY has this series. Nova will shut them down in NY and this game was over at 2-0. Detroit bats will not get it done.
They missed out on a golden chance in the first. Poor hitting did them in

Agreed. Texas and NYY have great bats, equally. I think Texas has the advantage pitching. With both ballparks though, that advantage may lessen. Like you said, Detroit has had Texas' number

Regardless, should be an exciting series

This game was over when they couldn't score on AJ in the first. The guy can't be the ball over the plate and you swing on 1-0 bases loaded. Then a nice defensive player by Granderson. Haven't been able to do anything since.

AJ settled down after the 1st but you have to wonder if he's going to fall apart sooner than later. I don't think Girardi will let him get to that point though
