Your the first person to mention that Oswalt is unbeaten in playoffs. Crazy how many people are on the cards. I just cant see them getting it done tonight.

From what i see on espn.com oswalt had a loss last year...

Below is the copy and paste I found when doing my research posted by ESPN. Pretty sure he is undefeated 2PAC. Good luck with your play whatever you decide.

Oswalt looks to remain undefeated as a starter in the playoffs and help the Philadelphia Phillies wrap up their NL division series against the Cardinals in Game 4 on Wednesday.

Six years ago, Oswalt allowed one run, three hits and struck out six in seven innings to help Houston to a 5-1 victory at St. Louis in Game 6 to clinch the NL pennant. After Ben Francisco's pinch-hit three-run homer Tuesday gave Philadelphia a 3-2 win and 2-1 lead in this series, Oswalt will take the ball looking to help eliminate the Cardinals once again.

"It's funny, six years later, I'm kind of in the same spot," Oswalt said. "But back in St. Louis trying to move on to the next round."

Oswalt is 5-0 with a 3.25 ERA in 10 career postseason starts, including 2-0 with a 3.15 ERA in three against the Cardinals. Despite what's at stake, the 34-year-old right-hander will not approach this outing any different than the others.

"My approach is to try to set the tone early, attack hitters," said Oswalt, who went 9-10 with a 3.69 ERA in 23 starts this season. "I'm not going to really do anything different. I'm not going to pitch like someone different. I'm going to pitch the way I've been pitching for 11 years now.

"One thing you always tell yourself as a starting pitcher is give 100 percent and that's all you can give."

Oswalt has not lost 3 times, espn and tbs confirmed that. They have lost a game that he started, but he was not credited with the loss.

There were many reasons to like St Louis tonight, one being Holliday back in the lineup.

Also, St Louis had the best offense in the NL. They had the highest avg and most runs scored. I know pitching is important, and everyone has fallen in love with the Philly starting rotation, but they don't pitch 9 innings every game, nor do they win every game.

Its a short series, and St Louis has the type of team that can beat anyone in a 5 or 7 game series. They did beat Philly 6-3 this year also. All this and St Louis continues to be plus money in every game.

If you can look a little deeper, and not get fixated on "best team in baseball" and their rotation, you will see St Louis has a real chance to win this series. Getting plus odds too?? Even better.

Been that way the entire series, they get plus odds every game. No idea why they don't get more respect.

it could have very easily been a 3-0 sweep for philly, and probably should have been, cliff lee was 94-1 (think hookem found this stat) while having a 4 run lead going into that game, and im saying this as I had Stlouis game 2 with Carpenter at +175.

Mr Rodgers, I respect you immensely. However, stats and trends can be overused. Cliff Lee hasn't exactly been a shut down pitcher in the post season, last season he had his issues too. So while overall this stat looks useful, one can also say that his post season performance makes this stat less meaningful. There are probably many top pitchers that with a 4 run lead, have an excellent W-L record.

Also, he is facing statistically the best offense in the NL. He didn't obtain that 94-1 record exclusively against St Louis. Francisco comes off the bench and hits a HR, Cards outhit and leave many runners stranded. You can't just dismiss this as normal occurrences, and on the flip side say Lee should have absolutely won because he has a 94-1 record with a 4 run lead.

Could have won in 3?? Possible. Very easily and should have won in 3?? Thats a little strong. I could also make a point that St Louis could have won in 4 games.

Its tied at 2-2, probably where it should be right now. Three Game 5's over the next couple days. What more can we ask for. Good luck going forward.

Im just saying if Cliff Lee holds his 4 run lead, which he usually does the series is over in 3. which in the back of my mind I dont want as I have a nice bet for the Cards to win the World Series at +4000 that I put in on september 12th.

that seems how this series have gone, the team that goes up early loses.
