Since 1969 there have been 104 best of five series in baseball. In only 11 of those series a team has trailed 2-0 and and come back to force a Game 5.

Arizona forces game 5. It has shaped up to be an exciting divisional series!

Next fun fact: The team that trailed 2-0 and and came back to force a Game 5, won 7 out of those 11 times.

By the way, I would not use this information as any bearing on your decision. Just throwing it out there as interesting info of how these series have played out historically.

It will also be tough for the Brewers to beat Ian Kennedy twice in the same series.

that is almost exactly what a 50/50 probability per game would give you with statistics.

100 series.....50 of them will be 2-0 with a 50/50 probability for each game. (team A is ahead 2-0 25%, team A and B tied 1-1 50%, team B ahead 2-0 25%) same percentage as flipping a coin.

so out of the 50 that are 2-0 statistics (of a 50/50 probability for each game) would give you a 25% chance that the 0-2 team would win 2 in a row..... 25% of 50 is 12.5 ...so the 11 actual real life teams that have come back to tie a 0-2 series is almost dead on with the expected 12.5 teams.
