SportsOptions computer line is Oregon -23.5, total 68.5, making the over an SO Computer play.

The SportsOptions exclusive game analysis for this game:

California is off a bye week after losing 31-23 at Washington two weeks ago as +1½ point 'dogs. Zach Maynard completed 23-of-43 passes for 349 yards and a touchdown. Kennan Allen had his best performance of the season with 10 receptions for 197 yards and a touchdown, while Isi Sofele added 98 rushing yards on 17 carries for the Golden Bears, who were coming off a 63-12 win over FCS Presbyterian the previous week. Cal had a 457-409 edge in total yards against Washington and won the turnover battle 2-0, but they couldn't get out of Seattle with a win.

Oregon also comes off a bye week after ripping Arizona in a 56-31 road win as -13½ point favorites. LaMichael James exploded for a school-record 288 yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns on 23 carries in the easy win. Kenjon Barner added two rushing TDs, while Darron Thomas completed 11-of-20 passes for two scores and also added two touchdowns on the ground for the Ducks, who recorded their 13th straight conference win. David Paulson had three receptions for 22 yards and another touchdown as Oregon racked up 516 yards of total offense.

California gave powerful Oregon a game last season but came up short in a 15-13 home loss as +18½ point underdogs. Cal held the Ducks' potent offense to 317 total yards and almost 40 points below its average; and missed a potential game-winning FG in the fourth quarter. California has fared well as a double-digit underdog (20-6-1 ATS), including 16-5 ATS as a double-digit road 'dog; however, the Bears have underachieved on the road as of late, going just 7-19 ATS. Meanwhile, Oregon is 20-7 ATS in October and 24-11-1 ATS as a double-digit chalk, as well as 10-4-1 ATS at home, but the Bears come into this one with the better defense (#27 vs. #77) and this is the highest spread ever in this annual series. Yes, we know Oregon has the #6 offense in the land (533 ypg)- but Cal can move it too (#25 - 456 ypg).

I have found this information to be of excellent value as one of the many tools I use in completing my handicapping of each game. So far this season, it has provided me with a few gems. Outstanding job Rick!

Rick, one small problem I have with SO is more then a few times, odds are not updated for well over 2 hours from more than a few sources.

One example currently, SO has CAL-NEVA books showing odds of -300 on Guillard in his fight Saturday night when in reality it is -350.

A small problem for certain considering all the other benefits of SO, but it would be great if the line feeds were more correct from some venues. Do you see this continuing to be a problem or is SO looking to improve on this situation in the future.

Thanks Rick, stay dry, it's wet out here.

Hey Fish,

I have reported this to our programmers and they are contacting them to get this worked out. We just got a new CalNeva feed, and it looks like there is an issue with boxing updates. I will let you know as soon as it is rectified.

Thanks for reporting this - we try to catch any feed issues before our customers see them, but with so much data going out it is very helpful to get this feedback.

I have a bike ride @ Mt. Charleston on Saturday, so I am hoping for a dry and a bit warmer weekend!

Thanks
Rick

Also, the STATIONS feeds are notoriously incorrect for all sports..................

The wife and me are thinking of doing the horseback riding special at Mt Charleston before months end, ever did that?

The new Stations feed is #1 on our list right now. They are saying it will be ready next week.

I have not done any horse riding up there, but my wife and I did some hiking recently. With the weather warming up next week it should be perfect. There are some leaves change colors which makes for some great pictures.

I've worked at a lot of sports media companies in my career, including Don Best and Covers, and I'm totally amazed by the amount of valuable information Sports Options provides. Another feature worth it's weight in gold are SO's System Plays. I wrote an article about these plays for TheRx.com website earlier this week: click here.

I know I sound biased, but I truly believe there is no better resource for an American sports bettor than Sports Options, regardless of whether you're a pro or a recreational player. If you're not already a subscriber, sign up for the free trial and check it out. It will blow you away.

Rick ...

The "SportsOptions Computer Line" .. do you have that for every game ? If so, how/where do you find it in SO ?
