if so, what are the symptoms, etc? Ive had some pain under the belly area, dull, achy, that increases with activity....also had a chronic groin strain (read that this may also be a symptom of a hernia...) any info appreciated...thx
I just had my Inguinal hernia repaired in August. All better now. If you do have one it will just gradually get worse. Take care of it sooner than later.

Sounds like a hernia from your description.
You should be able to feel a bulge under your skin, if it gets bad it may bulge out from skin.
I really dont feel a bulge under there....it started one day a few months ago after I was at the gym using the abductor/adductor machine and I think I over did it...since that day groin has been bad and had that pain in the mid section slightly...very odd
