Let's see how we do on the 2nd round.

3* Mil -145

I believe there will be some dogs barking in these two series but I'm going with a favorite to kick things off.

Damn I thought I posted my Tex over 9 play but didn't. We'll see what happens as they've scored five runs already. I'm going with a 4* St Louis +117 with the listed pitchers tonight. Good luck.

We got an easy win last night so I'm now 2-0 +7.68 units. If I'd a got my unbelieveable lucky win on the Texas over in, we'd be 3-0 but I posted it late so no play. The gambling Gods were with those of us on the over.

I like Texas tonight as Colby Lewis has given up 5 earned runs in 32 playoff innings dating back to last year. The team is 5-0 in his five starts and I see no reason why he doesn't pitch well again in this spot, especially against a depleted Tiger lineup. Fister is undefeated at home, so was Milwaukee last night, and has given up less than three runs in 9 of his last 10 appearances. In my opinion, everything points to an under here in this large Detroit park.

Now that I've stated all of that, I'm going to play Texas for 2*'s tonight at +115.

Good luck,

Gave back 2 units last night and my under information was dead on so now 2-1, +5 units. Here are my thoughts on both games today.

Texas Harrison has won 9 of his 10 starts and 14 of his last 16. The team is 11-5 with him on the road and 10-2 in his day game starts. His era is 2,15 during the day and 3.05 on the road versus his overall era of 3.43. He is 0-5 lifetime against Detroit including 0-2 this year giving up a total of 10 runs in 8 innings, both 4 inning outings.

Detroit is 9-5 with Porcello on the mound at home with a 5.66 era and he is 1-1 against Texas with a 8-1 win this year, going six innings at Texas. He has pitched at least six innings in 9 of 10 starts giving up just 33 runs with the team winning 7 of those 10 games.

I think Detroit and the over are the play but no play for me.

Milwaukee is 7-10 with Gallardo on the road, 15-3 at home. St L is also 7-10 with Carpentar on the mound at home. Gallardo was 1-3 against St L in 2011 and Carp was 2-2 winning both home starts. I believe St Louis wins this game and will go on to win the series so I'm making my biggest play of the Championship series with a 5* on St Louis.

Good luck.

A nice win with the 5* yesterday, now 3-1 + 10.68 units. Texas is smelling blood but I think Verlander pitches like he can instead of like he has lately do I'm laying the 150 for 3* and I think this one goes over the 7, so I'm playing that for 2*.

I also like St Louis again tonight. This is a team of destiny and Lohse only gave up 1 run in two starts at home against the Brewers so I played St Louis -137 for 4*'s.

Good Luck,

I hit two more big plays while being out of town with no PC access. Tonight a 4 unit play on St Louis +103 and 4 units on over 8.5 runs.

Good luck.

Thanks Barnzy. I see your Cards logo, you have to be pretty excited. A friend of mine called me before the playoffs started and his dad wanted to bet on the Cards to win the WS. I didn't get it down for him and probably could've on my overseas account so I hope he found a place to play it but doubt he did. Do you know what the odds were for that before the playoffs started?

I had a nice divisional run, going 7-2 on posted plays, +18.32 units. I actually had three other winners I didn't get to post for another +11 units so it was good for me. My playoff record on posted plays is 14-8, +14.33 units. It's time to handicap game one. I like both of these teams and would love to travel to one of the sights to enjoy the atmosphere but we'll have to see what happens.

Good luck with your plays in the WS.

not exactly your Q, but around Sept 1, the Cards were 100/1 to win the WS and there are multiple books in Vegas exposed on this pending wager.

Im not sure what the odds were but i think i did see what SBD said at one point cards were 100/1 odds. Crazy! I have no words to describe how i feel! Im am flabbergasted that we made the playoffs let alone the world series. Tony knows how to win and his team is playing some great baseball. Altough, we dont have any lefties to pitch in texas which scares me. I think we got a good shot with how loose our players are playing. They are just having fun out there and it shows!

GOOO CARDS!!! Nice run! keep up the good work.
