It's Tebow Time in Denver

Oftentimes, I'm wrong. Stevan Ridley's role this week comes to mind, as well as Mario Manningham's supposed breakout season. But sometimes, I'm right. And when I said you should pick up Tim Tebow, I hope you listened.

A brutally ineffective Kyle Orton was benched at halftime of today's game against the Broncos. When Tebow took over, the score was 23-10 and the Broncos were walking dead. When it was said and done, Tebow brought them within a completion of tying the game and did the thing we knew he could: RUN.

Tebow's mechanics are awful. He can't throw accurately. Heck, he can't even get the ball cleanly from under center. But fantasy owners should pay that no mind. In just one half of work today, Tebow picked up 17 fantasy points because he ran for a touchdown and threw a screen pass for another. It's the same refrain that we saw when Tebow started three games at the end of last season. During that span, Tebow averaged 217.0 passing yards, 66.3 rushing yards and scored seven total touchdowns.

In other words, add Tebow in all formats. After the Week 6 bye, I'd be comfortable with him as my QB1 going forward. He's a mini-Cam Newton. The Broncos' goal-line back and playmaker on offense.

He's interesting but if u actually watch him pass it's quite obvious he will be out of the NFL within 3 years - probably 2 - he's a decent runner but he's nothing like McNabb (was), McNair or Vick and Vick and McNabb while erratic at least have cannon arms

Is the box score accurate? says Tebow has thrown 1 pass that was incomplete half way through the 2nd q and Denver leads by 10? Maybe God is on his side - has Denver just decided we r not gonna let him throw the ball and just play with no QB

Im taking a future on Denver to win the SB - God is on this cat's side - first Miami then Oakland and now he doesnt have a completion at half and Denver leads by 10 - I seen enough

All you naysayers can keep running your mouths but the guy is a winner and he did it again today. He is 3-1 this year as a starter. How many wins does Scam Newton's team have?

Any by the way, the touchpass pass was sweet, he went over the top against double coverage and the throw was right on the money.

They will never get it. They enjoy rooting against him too much.

A playoff game? Next five years? This is his last season in the NFL - switch positions? With who? One of the fans

I'm not rooting against him - he seems like a nice kid compared to this league of parolees - but come on man - he's redefining the position - league has never seen a qb that does not pass the ball
