Detroit with Verlander...kinda pricey at -160 but 7 is a low total

I know he's Cy Young but he's not been a good playoff pitcher (5+ ERA)

in his last 4 games

20 IP (one relief appearance)
19 hits
12 runs
8 walks
3 HRs

CJ has been a little hit and miss too, so a Rangers bet isnt as tempting. I also suspect if he struggles they will let him crash and burn out there instead of trying to salvage the game by using up the bullpen again.

If Verlander struggles, Leyland will likely keep him there too. Why yank your best pitcher this year?

the bullpens have been worked over good too and the hitters have seen these pitchers a lot lately so fewer surprises coming if it gets to it

at 7, the over is quite tempting.

I think that last nights game took the wind out of Detroit's sails and that Texas gets to Verlander (again). There's way too much value for Texas tonight to NOT take a stab at them. I agree that the total is low too. I'm taking Tex +145 and might put a small bet on the over 7. Good luck!

Haha. It's ok man. I know u prob crazy busy with people bothering u for your input. I took a square play tonight on the over in the cards/brew game. Had to take it.
