So, while I have $100 a bottle tastes when I'm on my own dime I don't have $100 a bottle bank account.

So, when George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau 2011 is released on Nov. 17th, 2011, it'll hit my wine store shelves shortly there-after, and I'll purchase a good 8-10 cases.

Until then, I'm out of wine and I gotta go pick some up.

Other than Yellow Tail Shiraz, what else do y'all find that's $10 or there-abouts for a bottle that's half-way decent?

Calling steak, where are you?

My wife drinks wine a lot, but she likes Pinot Noir. She likes the Mark West and the Robert Mondavi Private selection, both of which are under $10. Me, I like to fill a glass with ice and then whiskey and I'm set.

not much of a wine guy, but I did pick up some at costco awhile back and finally opened up a bottle of Menage a trois from some winery in california named folie a deux. but anyways it wass very good, it is a blend of zin, merlot and cab. Think was like $10 a bottle, but cant remember for sure, definitely not over 25.

Makes a splendid Mangria also.

Columbia Crest "estate" Cab or merlot. Should run about 14 a bottle.

Chilli is producing some nice "table reds", that are full enough they can be cellared for 4-6 years, and improve a little. You can get them in the 16-range.

You may want to explore some Willamete (sp) valley, Oregon Pinot Noir. If you stay clear of the top 2-3 well know names you can get some very solid 20-25 dollar wines, that for SURE can be cellared and improve.

I saw it mentioned earlier, but the Blackstone Merlot is very good in that price range. My wife also seems to like the Coppola Merlot, a lot. That is closer to $20 per bottle.

Well, i'm back.

They only had the Blackstone Merlot in a 1.5L size - it was $18.99, so would have made my price range but I stayed with .750 size bottles not wanting to try out a new wine in the bigger size. I didn't see the Shiloh Road.

Picked up 24 bottles. Most expensive was Greg Norman Limestone Coast Shiraz at $14.99. Even picked up 3 Bottles of Gato Negro that with rebate brings the price down to $1.99 a bottle (this has got to be rot-gut). Majority of the purchase was Yellowtail.

I am not a wine drinker, but love Davis Bynum Pinot. It's about $30/bottle but far better in my mind than many $100-300 bottles.

I once had a $60,000 1955 bottle. Not my money and not my thing. The grapes were so old they would fall apart in the water.

Just opened a bottle of Pellegrini Cloverdale Ranch 2006 Alexander Valley.? Don't know how much it was. My gf is the wine buff and i just drink it. Estancia is next to be opened tonight as it appears to be the last Merlot in the house. Tons of Chardonnay in the rack.

Go to wine.com and check out their selection. You can sort by types of wine and popularity. A couple of good reds that i have found on wine.com for less than $10 are Stump Jump Shiraz (Rated a 90) and Tilia Cabernet Sauvignon (Rated 91 $8.99). Sign up for a free account and you will get offers about once per month for 1 cent shipping.

BR Cohn Cab Sauv is a very good red for under $20. There are some good Malbecs from South America that you can find on the cheap. Cline Zin and Rosenblum Cellars Zin can also be had for under $15.
