810 zone on the plaza is my favorite for atmosphere and the service is quick. i also like tanners --they have a few locations-- and the gran falloon on the plaza. tanners in waldo is my fav tanners. to me the plaza is a good place to go for lots of things so out of these i would pick 810 zone. i dont know if you are staying down by the stadium but the plaza is about 10- 15 minutes from the stadium. have fun whatever you do.

i could not tell you what is around the stadium. seems kind of empty. i dont think 810 is that difficult but if u dont know your way around i dont know. another option that is probably 10 min away but more of a straight shot is ameristar casino. they have a sportsbar in there.
Amerisports Brew Pub

Welcome to the most exciting sports bar and brew pub around. With its warm brick walls and leaded windows, Amerisports Brew Pub is the only classic lager house in or around Kansas City. Designed to look like a converted old world foundry don't be surprised to find that it contains a 52-screen audiovisual system that can broadcast more events simultaneously than any other sports bar in the Midwest. For sports fans, that translates into the ability to watch every single game of the season. Or, just behind the bar watch our very own Brew Master in action in the brewery.
Our high-tech audiovisual system includes:
  • Seven rear projection screens
  • 32 plasma screens
  • Thirteen personal touch screen TVs in individual booths
And then there are our award-winning brews... Our gleaming copper vats produce such hand-crafted beers as "Half Court Light," "Knock Out Blond," and "Hard Ball Dark."
Settle into one of our 300 seats, including leather-upholstered booths with individual viewing systems. Order a brew and such classic appetizers as Buffalo Wings and Nachos so macho they could add up to a meal. Or move on to such delectable entrées as one of our 100% Genuine Angus Beef Burgers or our Classic Reuben.
  • Monday - Thursday 4pm - 11pm
  • Friday - Saturday 11am - 1am (food served until midnight)
  • Sundays 11am - 10pm

forgot to say the casino is basically all highway route. it is real easy to find and a decent size casino if you would want to hit the tables later.

i would go with 810 zone it will be mostly kansas fans with a few k st and missouri fans. i was looking around and found this for an idea. i googled this from arrowhead stadium and is 17 miles but 15 of the miles are highway. there is a group called The University of Alabama Kansas City Alumni Chapter. they meet up at the fox and the hound english pub to watch the games. they have a facebook page. i have never been to that fox and hound but have been to another and really liked it. kind of a drive but hanging out with other alabama fans i thought i would mention it. whatever you do enjoy yourself.
