Hey kidman.

I have been to all the casinos in CB and Harrahs Horseshoe is by far my favorite.
They have live dog races and simulcast horses and dogs.
You will have a great time there.
If you need any live dog picks let me know. I know a guy that owns a bunch of dogs at Bluffs Run.

never bet on dogs and only horses a few times, im sure ill be lost. most of my time will be taken up by the wedding, so the gambling will probably be at odd times of the night and not during the day

Went there a couple of years ago and thought it was a nice casino with a modern feel. The poker room is great

It's not bad, there are 3 casino's within about a mile. The Horseshoe is the best of the 3, probably has the most poker players if you are into that.

Buffets are pretty good if you want to eat.

Other than that, pretty standard casino. Huskers are away next weekend or I'd recommend a road trip to Lincoln to take in a game. Have fun!

Yes, I like the place. The dog races can be fun. One thing to watch out for is their policy on alcohol in the casino. If they consider you to be drunk they will evict you and be a real horse's arse about it. Cops will accompany you to your room and stand guard for a period of time. If you do try to return - all HELL will break loose and you will be in jail.

Don't try to go to one of the other casinos in the city by cab because they alert the other casinos of the warning already given to the drunk. You will be refuse entrance. It is pretty much house arrest in the hotel. Maybe IHOP would deliver????
