maybe they saw better shots in the replay booth then were shown on tv.

i think what convinced them was his arm slightly over the goal line from the aerial view.

its too hard to make that call though from the views i saw.

i wouldve gone with not enough information.

If you are into conspiracy theories, this call would seem to de-bunk any thought that the Big 10 was trying to get their undefeated team into the BCS championship game, because that just fucked Wisky.

Indisputable video evidence now means jack shit because there was no replay that showed the ball crossing the goal line.

There is no "clear evidence". What a crock of shit.

yeah, i dont care if they called him short of the goaline or if they called it a td. either way from what i saw you couldn't change the call on the field. I did't see any indisputable evidence that shouldve overturned the call.

This.

Your statement just ended this thread. I agree, if called a 6 on the field, keep it. If not, coin toss please. I do think he was in

Great job by WISC calling that timeout at 3rd and 8 to save MICHST enough time for that final play :ohno:

i didnt like that call at all. If it was 3rd and 18 sure but not on 3rd and 8. even if they had stopped the 3rd down msu punts and wisky gets the ball back on maybe the 20 with what 18 seconds. shouldve just let it run

It was actually the right decision. If they don't get the miracle, you aren't even raising that point.
Actually I brought that up with a friend of mine, when he called the timeout.
Not because of the miracle play, but like EasyMoney stated, best case he has like 2 or 3 plays left from deep in his own territory (and those would also have included the risk of turning it over in their own territory, if they had gone that route). WISC got unlucky on that final play, granted, but without that timeout MICHST has one set of downs left, maybe even less, certainly not two.
And since they didn't get much pressure on the opposing QB and they were completing a bunch of short passes with ease, there was a far higher chance of MICHST converting around midfield with extra time left and a kicker, which is one of the better ones in college football.

after seeing first replay i thought he had it over the line...and not just over the front of the line, but clear of the entire goal line

second effort wins

wisky backers / fans not happy? wisky needs to plaly better defense on that final drive. they played like a bucket of dogshit.

also is it just me or does kirk cousins stare down his receivers way too much? lol nfl prospect
