With Holliday Out...

With him out, i know it could only help the cardinals defensively, but what about offensively...clearly that doesnt help. Hes out for the game with a wrist injury....Does this affect that middle of the lineup...Do the cardinals still win tonight...
I personally think with all the cardinals momentum after last night, and the crippling of the rangers....Cards have to win tonight. reminded me of the cubs collapse in 03' in the Nlcs...game 6, and then 7 rolled around and it wasnt even close.
1 strike away and the rangers couldnt close....i think we saw how october treats some baseball teams last night, and i think the cardinals(-131)take game 7 at home...with or without Holliday.

I don't think Holliday affects the outcome, other than less errors, and less inning ending double plays... haha Cards will be fine, they have all the momentum in the world right now. Big time spot for a big time pitcher Carpenter.

I totally agree with everything you just said. Batting Berkman between pujols and Freese is perfect.

Against a RH starter I agree, but against a LH starter I would have gone Berkman 2, and Craig 4.
Craig is much better protection for Pujols than Berkman hitting right handed.

No Punto in the starting lineup though, so I can't be too picky
