Relax they played one bad game on the road to a playoff team with a top 5 defense. They do have issues on defense though, as they couldn't get off the field on 3rd down which lead Pitt to dominate time of possession. They got outplayed all around today, not just on defense. Still, if they didn't mismanage at the end of the game (not challenging Gronk's CERTAIN touchdown cost them over a minute, and awful decision to onside kick IMO), they would have been in a very good position to win the game despite being outplayed.

Swiss cheese secondary will not take them very far in the playoffs.
I think Eli is salivating in anticipation

BELLICHOKE IS AN IDIOT.

On the 3rd down run, that got Pitt the 1st down, he should have challenged. It didn't matter the play wasn't going to be overturned, but he was using his final timeout regardless and the game was on the line and was close enough. The Timeout was being exhausted either way.

All Brady! No Defense! @):)

... and who is your team, OMT?

Pittsburgh scored 8 points in the 2nd half ... two was on a safety ... all they got was 2 FG's

Brady had under 200 yards passing ... and you say it's all Brady and no defense.

GREAT analysis.

On side kick decision was a total disaster.
No need to go onside with 3 time outs, plus the two minute warning.

The next successful on side kick he has, will be his first.

And lost the Superbowl!

Forget the comebacks ... Stick to your analysis, OMT ...

I mean, with hardcore fact-based analysis like that, no wonder everyone is dying to see what you think.

You watch a three hour game, watch Brady have his worst game of the season, pass for under 200 yards, you watch the NE defense give up 6 points and keep Pittsburgh out of the endzone the 2nd half, and you say:

All Brady! No Defense!

I didn't even mention the stupidity of the onsides kick.

College, I get it if you onsides kick it. NFL, you kick it deep.

Not challenging the TD call on Gronk's catch was just as bad ... even if they lose the challenge, he would have stopped the clock with the TO call.

You really can't expect to see the Patriots win every time they play Pittsburgh, especially on the road. They have pretty much owned them recently...To be honest I still have more issues with Pittsburgh then I do NE.... I think the AFC is up for grabs. NE, Bal, Jets, Pitt, SD and then you have some teams that look like they are capable of making a run ... Oakland, Buffalo and maybe even Cincy.

Relax... they cant get off the field... they got outplayed all around today... they
mismanaged the game... slam after slam. with supporters like you, who needs Patriot critics. the defenseless Pats will continue to be a good Over pick. IF they make the playoffs they'll be bounced out quickly, thay are half a team. no D

You just don't seem to get it!. Brady is all the Patriots have. Little else for skilled players and they have no defense. Brady's yardage was below 200 yards because of the defense of the Steelers not because he had a bad day. What the Patriots have done in past years is meaningless to the ability of the current team. When they play quality opponents, they will struggle and they will give up yardage period. When was the last time they won a meaningful game against a stout opponent?
