Not sure if the right word is "rigged".
They have settings to control the difficulty level.
If regular video games have difficult levels in which you can play on easy, normal, hard, extra hard, all-star, then you can bet your azz that a game that has real money at stake and a company's survival on the line does.
Anyone who has played them extensively through the years or at one time or another knows when there is a change in the software.
It's just too obvious.
And after second thought, I suppose if they can crank it up to almost impossible when they want, then maybe the right word is indeed "rigged"...
