i thought it was pretty funny, cant believe the players get banned from stepping foot into any stadium for that. im sure they are extremely homophobic over there, but its not like they started making out in the middle of the field, they were just joking with each other

I think they may be more than homophobic over there. Being gay in Iran is a crime I'm pretty sure that has a pretty hefty prison term. I think I remember hearing that it was punishable by death.
