Here's the current top 7 as of 11/6

1 LSU
2 Oklahoma St
3 Stanford
4 Alabama
5 Boise
6 Oregon
7 Oklahoma

Ok LSU is a lock given they win out.

Now what happens IF....

Oklahoma beat #2 Ok St at the end of the Year
and
Oregon beats Stanford next week....

I think it both happens...

If that's the case, then who does LSU play in BCS Championship Game.

Possible rematch with Bama. If Oregon is impressive enough in the Pac12 game and vs Stanford they could jump Bama. Zero chance Boise plays.

I think thats the most logical but voters don't want Oregon LSU rematch, if they wanted a rematch wouldn't it be Bama LSU.

I think Oklahoma will get the nod if this continues.

What if Arkansas beats LSU. while both Oklahoma State and Stanford loses? 3 SEC teams with 1 lose and 1 win to one another.

Bama would most likely get the nod to play in the SEC championship game then and if they win vs Georgia (most likely) they will go. I don't see Arkansas being able to jump them in the BCS even if they win out. Oklahoma's problem was losing as a huge favorite at home - big difference between losing to an unranked TT and the number 1 team. I really think we would see Bama and Oregon in that situation. No way Boise will ever get in this year. If they were winning every game by 50 then maybe...but they aren't. I don't buy the shit about pulling the starters - if they cared they would be putting up offense like Houston.

I think there is a better chance of a rematch between Oregon and LSU because they are not in the same conference.. Also it would be tough to vote a team in that didn't even play in there conference championship, which also will be the case for Oklahoma. Oklahoma does not have a championship game either. Oklahoma also gets hurt by losing to a 29 pt dog at home. Oregon's only loss is to the #1 ranked team basically on the road. Voters could look at Harris being suspended for Oregon hurt them with 2 special team turnovers that basically decided the game

If it goes down like that I think boise gets in. Bama and Oregon had their chance and Oklahoma got beat by freakin Texas tech. None of them deserve it...

Boise hasn't done anything to deserve a chance.. I would give any 1 loss team a chance first including Clemson

You may be right but I still think Boise gets in if this is the case. But Stanford is not going to lose, so maybe we'll never know

What a mess…

The BCS is all of its infamous wisdom has decided that the University of Nebraska will play the University of Miami for the National Championship. Super. Just what I wanted, and I am not even being that sarcastic.
Let me break it down for you. Colorado is ranked third in the AP and USA/Today poll. Nebraska is fourth in both. Colorado won the Big XII title, beating Texas in the Big 12 Championship game. Nebraska didn’t even play for the conference crown because Colorado beat the corn out of them 62-36 (boxscore) on November 23. That was the last time that Nebraska took the field.

None of this will change the BCS computer that ranked Nebraska five-hundredths of a point higher than Colorado, thus giving Nebraska a birth in the Rose Bowl for the BCS Championship.

No way Oregon goes over Bama. LSU destroyed Oregon. LSU was extremely lucky to beat Bama.

They should because Oregon would have one more win thanks to the Pac-12 Championship game. More BCS points. Bama couldn't score a TD at home and people want to give a rematch while playing one less game?

Not sure what you were watching but 2 special team TO's by a freshmen cost Oregon the game. Yardage in game was even, thats not getting destroyed.. Game was essentially a home game too for LSU...... Not saying they didn't deserve the win but if Harris isn't suspended most likely the game could have goneither way...If Bama can't even get into the Championship game they shouldn't get in before a 1 loss Oregon or Oklahoma

Isnt the SEC Championship Bowl winner auto-tied to the Sugar Bowl and the Pac-10/12 or watever champ winner tied to the Rose Bowl? IF Lsu and Stanford both win out how could they play each other? maybe its not like that anymore, just asking....
