I saw Joe Frazier fight local boxer, Marion Connors at the old Boston Gardens back in '67. Of course Joe won with a 3rd round KO and went on to become W.C. several years later. While his style may not have been one of beauty, his determination and grit, accompanied with that famed left hook made him one tough opponent for the many who faced him.
