The thing about Rodgers that I notice when watching him for these past 15 games or so is just how EASY he makes it seem. When Brady or Manning had their special years in '07 and '04 respectively it felt special, it felt like they were just at the apex of their careers with playmakers around them who were also at their apex. Rodgers it doesn't even feel like that, it just feels flick of the wrist effortless....

He really hasn't had to face any good Ds this year besides the Bears and it was earlier in the year when they were struggling a little so hopefully we see if some of the better NFC defenses can challenge him rest of the year and the playoffs but it seems like he really has no peers right now as good as guys like Brady and Brees are.

The fact the Packers have tons of playmakers on offense helps that. Also, I think the fact that they don't a household name at RB helps since there is never any pressure to run the ball more, which would obviously be counter intuitive for them with their passing game.

McCarthy and Thompson have created a monster through the draft. That team is run the right way, like a fluent corporation. Top to bottom, everyone is accountable and there are no me's or I's. A breathe of fresh air in a time where individuals try to get the spotlight. Its a pure joy to see how they run this ship. When James Jones, who could be a 1 or 2 on some teams, has to have his qb fight for his job, it says something. The time spent clip boarding for 4 has done wonders for AR, and also put some extra drive in him to prove he is capable and makes people easily forget about the most selfish qb in GB history. Stay healthy and 4 will be a distant memory.

Good find Fishhead. Amazing statistic.

They mentioned it on the MNF pregame.......................

Steve Dilfer also rattled off about eight things you would like in your QB, and stated that right now Rodgers is the best in the league at ALL of them.

Steve Young then stated that nobody in the history of the game has played the QB position over the last 12 games better than Rodgers has.............

ALL OF THIS LEADS ME TO BELIEVE WE MAY SAY A LITTLE SLUMP ON THE HORIZON FOR AARON.............as well as the Packers.

You know what else is friggin rediculous, that Rodgers has 27 TD's and Green Bay has 3 rushing TD's all year. He's a great QB, but he is the BEST fantasy QB. I've never seen a team line up consistently with 5 wides in the shotgun on 1st 2nd and 3rd and goal.

As I've stated in the past, and not taking anything away from Rodgers who is obviously one of the best three QB's in the league, but one you have............

JENNINGS(one of the best deep threats in game and SUREhanded)
FINLEY(one of the best receiving TE in game)
DRIVER(all-time GB reception leader and SUREhanded)
COBB(rookie of the year contender)
NELSON(playoff and SB monster and averaging almost 20 yards per catch this year and SUREhanded)

JONES
CRABTREE
BACKFIELD

I can't get over how good this guy is.

He is great in the system of today. Not his fault, but the rule changes for the defenses leave no mercy anymore. The NFL has fallen less and less with all the changes.

and still, 60% of the QB's in the league are not really, really that good.........let alone great.

Can buy a small portion of your argument, but I think having 5+ REALLY REALLY good receivers is much more of an advantage for RODGERS than any rule.
