I have not lived in NYC for a while and with a tear I read they closed my go to football bar "Ship of Fools" on the upper East side. My backup, which was also a good place, was Blondies on West 79th between B-way & Amsterdam but you have to get there early to get a good seat. If you go to watch football at the ESPN zone or Hooters in NYC you should probably be banned from this forum. Same idiots that go to the ESPN Zone in NYC are the same ones who go to Olive Garden in Times Square. Yeah, because there are no good Italian joints in NYC might as well go to Olive Garden because that is the only option.

Cool thanks guys. I also found Stadium Grill at Bowlmoor Lanes that is closer to our hotel which works out since we'll be headed to the Jets game later in the day. You guys ever been here or is Blondies still our best bet?

Empire State Building is on 5th Ave, just stay on 34th, walk 3 (or is it 4?) blocks east to 3rd Ave. Bar 12 is right there, one of the best there is in Midtown East.

Bar 12 closed and is now known as Highland Park but thanks for the suggestion. I'll stick with BAS's suggestion for Blondies, looks like a cool place. Now onto the next and most important question, what strip clubs do you guys recommend? We usually go to Scores when we're in town but would like to try somewhere different.

While on the surface you might be right it's a little different here. Having been to Blondie's, Ship of Fools and ESPNZONE (when it was there) I can tell you that you had better get to Blondie's and Ship of Fools EARLY because the places will get packed quickly and there will be no place to sit. Whereas, ESPNZONE sat right in the middle of Time Square and you could walk in and be able to get a decent spot to watch games 15 minutes before kickoff. The place was spacious and it had more tv's then the other 2 combined.

At any rate go early to make sure you get a seat.
