Can't decide whether to drop $55 to see the Pacquiao-Marquez fight on PPV, or watch Velasquez vs. Dos Santos for free on FOX.

I generally prefer a good boxing match over UFC, however, 55 bucks is a bit of stinger. And the Velasquez vs. Dos Santos heavyweight tilt seems intriguing - Velasquez is the guy who KO'd that pro wrestling goon Brock Lesnar last year.

What are you guy watching this weekend?

Boxing died many moons ago - I would only watch Pacman/Mayweather - and if its $100 I may boycott it on principle alone

Does anyone know the remainder of the UFC other than the HWYs

They are timed where you can watch both home slice. UFC is starting early with most of the fights for free on their Facebook page. The heavyweight title fight on FOX will be over right when the PPV is ramping up.

Can't miss this free UFC event... The title match is great, and both guys know how important it is to show up (not just for the sake of winning, but for the sake of the UFC). I think it'll be great.

Sad but true, boxing is pretty well dead. I keep hoping it will rebound. Not likely to happen, though.

Jake T., nice info on timing. Here are the rest of the fights on the UFC card:

Bantamweight bout: United States Alex Caceres vs. United States Cole Escovedo

Lightweight bout: United States Ben Henderson vs. United States Clay Guida

Featherweight bout: United States Dustin Poirier vs. United States Pablo Garza

Featherweight bout: United States Cub Swanson vs. United States Ricardo Lamas

Welterweight bout: United States DaMarques Johnson vs. United States Clay Harvison

Bantamweight bout: Japan Norifumi Yamamoto vs. United States Darren Uyenoyama

Featherweight bout: United States Mackens Semerzier vs. Mexico Robert Peralta

Welterweight bout: United States Mike Pierce vs. United States Paul Bradley

Light Heavyweight bout: United States Aaron Rosa vs. United States Matt Lucas

NOTE: Everything but the heavyweight title fight will be on Facebook... It's only a one fight thing on FOX. Future events will have more fights, but this is just the championship.

Wouldn't want to pre-empt COPS with the fastest growing sport in North America.

Looks like the prelims will be in FoxSports.com as well.

boxing for me. this is a rant i will admit. i used to love UFC. last year and a half or so it has gotten watered down. i would rather see an event every 2 months maybe 3. this would be PPV events. and since they have fox and spike they can air free events once a month for guys looking to make a name for themselves. leave the PPV events to guys that are worth paying $50 for. like i said this is a rant but my opinion. enjoy whatever you guys pick to watch.

Dos Santos takes the title from Cain Velasquez.

Now we wait & see if Brock Lesnar can knock off Alistair Overeem in December to get a shot at Dos Santos & the title again.
