I don't know about that. They lost to the 49ers on a 4th & goal with under 2 mins to go. Those 8-1 49ers and a TD loss to the Falcons and this loss to the Bears is pretty good in today's NFL. They have a good shot to make playoffs as a wildcard. I see the 2 NFC wildcard spots between the Lions, Bears, Falcons & Cowboys.
??? what's wrong with Miami on Thanksgiving ? They hold the record for the most points scored on a thanksgiving day game (since 1970) when they scored 55 on the St Louis Cardinals in 1977.
Their previous appearances were - 73 , 77 , 93 , 99 , 03 , and 06. - 4 games were against Dallas , 1 against Detroit , and the game against St Louis.

I have no doubt that the Lions will score on the Packers defense. Will they score enough to win? Maybe not, but if they can get to Rodgers they have a fighting chance. If Starks is unable to go, that will help them as well, they are statistically bad against the run, but that's mostly due to a few big runs a game- I don't see Grant hurting them that much. My guess is that Rodgers will torch them down the middle at least a few times though, as that seems to be the soft spot of the defense. Look for Finley to have a big day.
