i wanted stanford vs. lsu, but after oregon exposed them thats over with.

boise is also a fraud.

i think im coming back to alabama vs. lsu. i would be ok with a rematch.

i am dismissing ok state until after bedlam. if they win that, i'll replace alabama with ok state.

I just love the assumption that LSU is going to make it. They still have a tough game with Arkansas & Georgia is playing real well right now. I am thinking we could see Oklahoma State vs Alabama or Oregon.

We have a lot of possibilities this year - personally I love it. There should be quite a few fantastic bowls this year.

Oklahoma vs LSU

Sorry you cannot lose to Texas Tech at home and "deserve" to play in the BCS title game. A Texas Tech team who promptly went out the following week and got drilled at home by Iowa State 41-7.

I hope Arkansas beats LSU and puts some chaos into the BCS system. Anything to prompt a playoff system. Ca you imagine how much behind the scenes shenanigans would take place if Bama, LSU & Arkansas all finished with the same record? That in itself would be entertaining.

The best game would probably be Okl. State verses Oregon but there is no way that can happen unless LSU loses 2 games IMHO. Even if LSU should lose just 1 game, they still deserve to get into the Title game over any other 1 loss team.

Id like to see the winner of LSU/Oregon(assuming lsu wins out) play the winner of Alabama/Ok St(assuming they beat Ok) in a playoff system format, but the dummies wont do the right thing...

Even if Arkansas beats LSU in Baton Rouge on the last game of the year and finishes 11-1?

Yes, LSU shoulld go even if they should lose to Arkansas. Why ? Well then you would have the stat where there are 3 SEC teams that have all lost only 1 game as LSU has beaten Bama, Bama has beaten Arkansas and Arkansas has beaten LSU. Since everyone of the 3 can say they beat one of the others but not both of them, I think you have to go to the tougher schedule and LSU wins out easily as take a look at Arkansas pre-season schedule of 1-9 Missouri State, 1-9 Mexico and 2-7 Troy. I assume Oregon will win out and LSU's win over a 12-1 Oregon should propel them into the Title game.

LSU should not get rewarded if they don't win their conference. That would be complete bs as if Oregon wins out from here along with Oklahoma State, they are your only 2 teams to actually win their conference championship which supposedly is the number 1 thing you should do.

Oh you mean like in 2007 when LSU was the #1 team in the country and lost to an unranked Arkansas team at home. Then Arkansas went out and lost their next game 38-7. Oh and by the way, LSU went on to play in the BCS title game. And that was LSU's 2nd lose of the season.

Well you left out that LSU also played powerhouses Northwestern State & Western Kentucky. Additionally, Arkansas has to play LSU & Bama on the road which I think should account for something. Road wins in the SEC should matter more than home wins. Lastly, LSU did have a tougher non-conf sched but LSU missed out on Georgia & South Carolina while Arkansas beat a South Carolina team that could finish 10-2. It would be a tough call but I hate a system where you beat a team with the same record as you in their house on the last week of the season and that team plays for the title and you don't. Doesn't seem legit.

Agree, I think that was total BS. But again, that was Arkansas in a rivalry game. I have a feeling the voters will not be as sympathetic with Texas Tech who will most likely finish 9th out of 10 in their conference and miss a bowl game.

You seem be overlooking the possibily that LSU will be playing Georgia as in the case of a 3 way tie, I believe the call goes to the team with the highest BCS ranking which most likely would still be LSU over Arkansas. Tough call and I'm not positive of how it all will play out. Lots of football still to be played but I like Oregon as they seem to be improving with almost every game. If nobody beats Oklahoma State however, We are speculating for nothing. They wil go for sure as they really only have Oklahoma left. that game was listed as a pick Em at the Las Vegas Hilton just a few days ago. Okl State's lopsided victory yesterday just might put them back into a slight favorite in that game.
