A reputable book has twice this week put me in for the wrong bets on a couple totals placed online ..I know FOR SURE I put in the wagers in right..Be getting out of there in a couple days anyway..Guess Im gonna start printing all my wagers on paper..to my documents...AND taking screen shots of all of my wager tickets.. so if it happens again I'll have proof and I can come in here to dispute and name the book...somehow now tho I get the feeling it wont happen again

not trying to start bashing anybody or a book..I mean could be my human error, even though I dont think it is, but just a warning or good piece of advice anyway..helps us out if we ever have a dispute with the book, and protects us from thinking we put something in one way, when we didn't. I guess the screenshot is a bit extreme.. but I feel like I need to do this for a couple days just to be safe

When betting online always write down the ticket#. Im 100% positive you put in the wrong side. I've done it myself a number of times.

I can't imagine a book who probably has thousands of customers would go and change your bet.

Yep. I just found a wrong side loser today. Happens to me about once every 10 weeks or so. Since the book was Pinnacle, I am 99.999% sure I put it in backwards.

They seem to even out over time.

I'm not sure how this will help stop a book intent on changing your wager.

Evidently he's not so confident. Having a screenshot allows you to check your wager and really be 100% sure about what you bet on and how much. It also is proof if there is an issue.

By having a ticket# you will know when the bet was made and the reference# if a book changed your bet you would have a different ticket# and time. No book is going to go in and change your bet (Synbet maybe) when they have tens of thousands of wagers on any given game. Paranoia will destroy you.

Agree a screen shot wouldn't hurt.

I'm guessing a book could change any won bet they wanted to to the losing side while keeping all the other details [ticket number, time, etc] the same.

Interesting thread. It happened to me twice this week and I figured I put in the wrong side. But hearing this happening to others makes me believe it did occur. I learned a lesson to screen shot and copy every single wager. I just know I put in the other side though.

Can't do it the software wont allow it. You can change a wager but it will be time stamped.
