Looking to buy a TV, 32-42 inches. Anyone know what the best deal(s) would be.

Looking to spend around $400.

Black Friday is the day to buy.
I swear by the Toshiba, others do not.

Sony is overrated, go to a showroom, look at all the models, pick out what picture you like the most, then shop for the best deal on Friday.

I bought my 42" LCD last year the day before Black Friday at Wal-Mart for $468. The next day it was $498.

Go to Facebook and "Like" this page. This is how I knew about the sale. https://www.facebook.com/BFAds

I'd start at cnet.com and check out which tvs are rated highly, then go look at those models in a store. Ask for the remote and play with them a bit, remembering that the showrooms lighting is probably going to take some of the fun out of it (they'll look very bright, and stunning, but will probably lack depth and shadow detail). Then, buy one :)

Be careful with Best Buy, their exchange policy is brutal.

I have a Samsung and a Panasonic Plasma which are awesome but I recently purchased a 42" Vizio for the bedroom and for the moneyI think it is awesome. I picked it up at Walmart and it was extremely reasonable
