Kind of nice just enjoying the games without all the anxiety that I usually have when I gamble. But I must admit my interest in the games was definitely way down. So my question to the forum is...Would you really care about football if you didn't wager on it?

I don't wager on it, but i still watch a bit sometimes, or at least follow the scores.
Not that i watched any more when betting.

Its very difficult to watch a game like Rams vs Seahawks without money on it. I love football and everything but if i dont have money on this game I am most likely distracted by internet porn or true life reruns on MTV. Now its like fuckin with a condom vs without. Sure before I knew what raw fuckin was like it seemed like protected sex was the best. But now that I know the difference its hard to go back..

At this point watching games without money on them = sex with 3 rubbers on...

It is good to take a break.

If its not NBA or football season I don't wager either.

But, to answer your question harrington, I don't think anyone who has been a real bettor through the years can ever be as interested in football again as just a fan.

I can definitely relate to that feeling of calm when you don't have the stress and anxiety of worrying about the results of our action. I know the gambling lifestyle is counter productive to other more important priorities. That being said why do we gamble? When I gamble I workout less, I work less, and I get depressed more often. But for some reason I love the action. At this point I'm just trying to recoup some of my lifetime losses. But my best advice is that gambling show be very low on your priority list, unless your're a winner.

Football wouldn't interest me that much unless I had action going.
