if Ark beats Lsu at Death Valley this is a what have you done for me LATELY Nation.

We lose the tie breaker to Alabama and (when they beat Auburn) they HAVE TO
GO PLAY IN THE SEC TITLE GAME AND FACE A HOT GEORGIA TEAM NOT US.

SO WE WILL BE IN THE NUMBER TWO SPOT SITTING IDLE AND WAITING TO SEE IF ALABAMA COME BACK AND PLAYS US OR, WE MAY EVEN PLAY LSU AGAIN. EITHER WAY IT IS AN ALL SEC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP..........

IF WE WIN WE ARE IN......YOU CAN COUNT ON IT:103631605

If Arkansas beats LSU, they are not automatically in at all. What you then have is a SEC mess because all 3 one loss teams have all beat and been beaten by 1 of the others. Bama crushed Arkansas 38-14. LSU beat Bama at Bama of course 9-6. Let's just pretend Arkansas beats LSU in a close game. There's a great argument for all 3 teams ! However I think LSU would still go because I think their SOS would win them as their big victory over Oregon is far better than Arkansas's games against Missouri State, New Mexico and Troy which is pretty weak. I think Arkansas might not even be the one going to the SEC Title game as I think in the event of a 3 way tie and each team claiming victories over the others , the choice is decided by the highest BCS ranking. That choice could easily still be LSU. It would be very close and a real mess. Personally, I think LSU has earned the right to play for the BCS Championship unless they loss to Arkansas and then also lose to Georgia.

Kermit, i agree with you on some points....let's llok at like we were in elementary school. If we are three and we beat number up at number one's house, we will not remain three Alabama will go to one, we will go to two and lsu would go to three and from the two spot since we would not go to the Sec championship game we will sit idle until arriving at New Orleans.....

We will not win at death valley and stay at three

the sec title game would be decided by the 8th (or maybe its the 7th) tiebreaker and that is correct above...it would be the BCS standings

if your an sec fan, your in heaven right now seeing your conference dominate college football but if arky does pull the upset...someone is gonna get left out and they are gonna be pissed! if arky blitzes lsu by like 17/21pts i just dont see how you could keep bama out of the NC game.....you crush ark, ark crushes lsu and you lose in OT to lsu in a game you missed opportunity after opportunity

if ark win a close game....phew....gl trying to make a case against anyone...

the 1 thing i will say is just based on the current bcs rankings with ark being 3rd....i do think if they win on saturday close game or blowout...they should jump bama in the BCS standings...i think its the fair play...they are #3 playing #1 on the road its their signature win in the last game of the season....it the lasting image of their season its hard to not put them into the sec title game.......they win that game they are in the NC game....then gl deciding on lsu/bama in the rematch bcs title game

You lost to Bama 38-14 right ? I know you would love to forget that score but are the voters going to forget. Maybe you do jump LSU but it's not a sure thing. Even if you move up to 2 in the polls, Will it be enough to overcome LSU's huge advantage in the BCS computer rankings. I think not. Total BCS mess that could easily be resolved by having the 4 winners after the bowl games play off ! 3 more games ! I don't understand why anyone objects ?

Once again... You want to forget the spanking Bama gave Arkansas 38-14 ! Tell that to a Bama fan ! Good Luck with that one !

If Lsu loses either of their next 2 games by less than 7 they will still be in the BCS Championship game. The SEC Champion can go to the Sugar Bowl but it may not be the BCS title game....it would not be the 1st time and i could be mistaken but i think LSU was the last team to do this, buts its also happened in other situations where the conf champ ended up lower ranked than a lower team..

At 3pm central time there should be a guy from FOX Sports ...Chris Landry i think on this radio station who will explain all the ins and outs in detail......http://www.thescore1210.com/main.html

Bama has the easier path, they don't have to play either team and they don't have to play in the SEC championship game

they're almost locked in already, especially if LSU wins

Why will you be number 2 ? Your SOS will probably be less than LSU. If I was voting since everyone has beaten each other, you have to go back to SOS and once again, LSU is better !
Bama is way better than Arkansas, LSU is better than Bama and it was at Bama and of course Arkansas is better than LSU if they do in fact win. It's a mess but SOS favors LSU and their playing and beating Oregon is far better than Arkansas playing 3 nobody's in the preseason.

If LSU wins, it's a done deal LSU/Bama ! I think Arkansas needs to beat LSU and then hope that LSU loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship game. Of course if Auburn beats Bama and Arkansas beats LSU, then Arkansas is in. Lots of if's and I think LSU is in unless they lose 2 games. JMHO

No matter what ? Sorry but if Bama loses to Auburn, I doubt that Bama will be going ! Also if LSU loses their next 2 games, I doubt they are going ! However I think that neither of those 2 things will happen but IF they did ...

The fact that Bama most likely doesn't get to play in the SEC Championship helps them ? Really ? Not in the eyes of the voters !

I don't see how you can keep Arkansas out of the title game if they beat #1 in #1's house and they both finish with the same record. You have to put some weight into where they played and Arkansas had to go to Bama & LSU. That has to account for something. What is the point of the BCS if you beat #1 in their house, finish with the exact same record and cannot move up? Again, like Auburn in 2004, Arkansas might get screwed because they were not ranked in the top 10 pre-season unlike LSU & Bama and thus in the voters minds makes it harder to jump teams that have been at the top all year even before an actual game was played.

OK Tell me who you think should be BCS rated # 1 ! If you tell me Arkansas... I'll remind you Bama 38-14 trouncing of them. If you tell me then Bama, I'll remind the Bama fans that they lost to LSU at home ! If you tell me LSU, I'll have to agree because they have won more games over better opponents.... That's sucks but it's the truth. LSU scheduled Oregon and beat them while Arkansas was getting 3 byes playing Troy, Missouri State and New Mexico ! Also if you want to win a BCS Championship, it would be best not to get blown out 38-14 whether at home or on the road. A lot of talking about nothing anyway because LSU will beat Arkansas and then Georgia IMHO.
