Since the Bears O-Line has improved I really believe Culter is one of the best QB's out there. Definitely top 3 in my book.

Everybody who called him soft after he came out of last years Championship game against G.B. were wrong.

Did you see him chase down the San Diego defender after an interception yesterday. Unfortunately he broke his thumb on that play. When Jay gets going he has to be one of the fastest QB's in the leagues. Maybe the only one's that are faster are your running QB's maybe. Jay is fast, athletic and tough as nails.

Barman, Please do your job. Thank You

top 3?

so is he better than Rogers or Brady or Brees?

his 2011 QB rating is 12th best, he has 13TDs and 7 picks

IMO, Cutler has been a serviceable to decent QB for all 6 years of his career, and no where near top 3

but good & smart minds can & do disagree

Let it go already. We all have opinion's and yours is obviously wrong. It's already been proven one of your cohorts is a fraud. Please stop, I know I rubbed you the wrong way and you don't like me, obviously the feeling is mutual but let's be men and stop this nonsense.

I think its safe to say he's not better than Brady, Manning, or Rodgers, but as far as where he ranks among the rest is impossible to say since he's throwing to average and possibly even below average wide receivers yet still gets the job done.

Possibly, I did say top three. I think Brady is declining, Bree's N.O. got beat by Seattle in last year's playoffs. Bree's has his fans, but I recall the Bears beating him in the playoffs. In the Superdome under perfect conditions with a good offensive line Brees is good. He also has a better crop of receivers to throw to. I'd definitely take Cutler over Brees. Rodgers is a different story. He's probably the top quarterback and has a chance to go in the history books as the greatest.

Statistics are a useful tool but they don't explain the whole picture. I believe a better way to judge talent is by watching performances week in and week out. Many factors involved, not just looking at QB rating.

He can take a team team to a Super Bowl.

There probably aren't more than 7-10 quarterbacks who can do that.

cutler top 3 , thats funny

Wow here we go! Your opinion is totally opposite of mine. Based on your comment you must rate him somewhere between 11-25. Here is a little food for thought.

He led the Bears to the Central Division Championship last year. This was the same division that produced the Super Bowl Champion G.B. Packers.

He Led the Bears to last year's NFC Championship Game losing to eventual Super Bowl Champs G.B. Packers.

The Bears currently have the 3rd best record in the NFL and probably have played one of the toughest schedules thru 10 games.

I'm curious if you saw the play yesterday that he broke his thumb on. If you did what did you think of that play.

30 or so teams have starting QB's. Among all realistic pundits Cutler has to be ranked anywhere from 6 to 14, he's good
no doubt about it!

Im impressed and have been since the Saints blowout. That guy was getting killed, he was begging the bench to put a TE in and they would run no backfield every play and if he didnt get crushed he put the ball right on the money. The recievers dropped them all but that team quit that game. Cutler played his ass off and it was obvious he was unhappy with a multitude of things...
He does have a top notch NFL arm and i would say its very likely he insisted on some changes after that Saints game that got them back on track.
Top 3...not comparing all-time records but just this season who besides Rogers has done more/played better? nobody comes to mind..

Im just wondering if your opinion would be different if you lived outside of Illinois. Sorry I found your opinion humorous, I have him in the top 10 but no where near 1-2-3.

Contributing all those goals on the success of Jay Cutler and saying because of it hes a potential top 3 QB in the NFL is something I dont agree with.

Pass offense ranked 22nd , Rush ranked 10th

They are ranked 5th in scoring but they are the only team in the league with a combined Special Teams/Def 7 TD's

There are 15 teams that have more Rec TD's. I know harder division blah blah but its still true.

And their D , although not as strong in previous years is still doing pretty good with 15 INT's and 8 Fumble Recoveries.

Heres some more info against other QB's in the league
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2011/leaders.htm

The last 5 games Id say hes played very well , Id rate him around 7th/8th in the league right now.

And I did see the play and thought if he didnt throw that pic maybe he wouldnt have had to try and make a tackle

I don't think you saw the play. The interception wasn't his fault. You should have thought if the receiver didn't fall while the ball was enroute he wouldn't have had to out sprint ever player to make a play.

I guess you've thought about where he ranks with the current crop. Top 3 is funny, but somewhere in the top ten. Maybe 7 or 8. Do you think Falcons QB is better, how bout Brees, Matt Schuab, Phil Rivers, Matt Moore, Hasselback, Rothiesberger, Bengals QB, Ravens QB, Sanchez. I know you think Brady and Rodgers but name the other 5 or 6. Just curious. You entitled to your opinion I just don't see it, than again I don't have a complete list of the current crop. Help!

Yes, my opinion may be differnet because I wouldn't have seen his performances as frequently. How about you. Would your opinion be differnet if you lived in Chicago.

Rogers , Brady , Brees Are my top 3. ( only because peyton is out )

Rothlisburger
Stafford
Romo/Ryan/Cutler/Rivers(prob to many INT's this year)

Although actually writing it out like this maybe I could put Cutler into 6th before the other 2.

Yeah I forgot about Peyton. I totally disagree with you rating Stafford and Ryan ahead of Culter. What has Stafford done. But thanks for an honest response.

You curious where Seymour is. I believe he's hiding behind his computer. Seymour and Steak you both be sorry if you made that joke to my face. I look forward to meeting both of you in the near future.

Stafford has done this
More completions
More Yards
More TD's ( Second to Rogers )
Better QB rating

All in the same Division with 1 less home game I believe, and in a few short years brought a win less lions team to the same record as a team that was in the superbowl only 4 years ago..
