Laying here now in Sunny warm south Florida .. Thinking, if you had a choice
Would you want to Live somewhere other than where you Live ?

I have had this place in Florida for some time now. I would move here in a Heart beat. But the wife would rather stay in New York , and just use this as a mini vacation place.

No way...I found my paradise in Pattaya Beach, at least until I go broke...then I move back to Costa Rica and move in with Judge Wapner...

We don't even do the snowbird thing. We come here a week or two at a time.

The nice thing about living in a van is you can move when ever you want. Well not WHEN EVER you want, but most of the time. Depending on the current mechanical condition of the Dodge.

I guess no matter where you live we always think the grass may be greener somewhere else.
But in some cases that is literally true like you guys who live up North vs Florida LOL.

If I had to choose somewhere other than Central Florida, it would likely be England as I love the women's accents, or the land of natural Blondes such as Norway, Sweden, or Finland etc...

Never made it to Sweden or Norway but Finland was just stunning. Everywhere you looked each woman was hotter than the last. Surprised they have any snow there since the women are so hot ... and I was there in the middle of winter.

For the past ten years and likely for a few more, TBay FL area is best for me because I can have very comfortable working conditions (lawn/garden maintenance) 12 months a year.

We've got several "other places" we might like to live - most notably for me my hometown area of DFW Texas, but they actually have three pretty cold months there so I've got more work to do before I can earn that as a full-time residence

Preferred would be home base north of DFW (30-60min) and 2-4 weeks a year traveling to each of Rocky Mts, Costa Rica, NYC and back here in Pinellas County FL

id like to live in arizona but thats not going to happen with the wife set on staying put.other than there lake tahoe as someone above mentioned is a great place to retire and relax,i would not have believed it until i went there last year
