Last 3-4 winters have been brutal here and I think its time to take the plunge and buy a snow blower. Anyone got any advice on which 1 to buy? The honda model I looked at got good reviews.

Seems like to get a good one price range is like around 7-800....

Tire, no track crap, and 8hp. Deal with these a lot and you overpay a bit for the honda engine but it is great. More bang for the buck with a Simplicity or off shoot brand with the briggs engine. Seafome is the greatest additive for any engine, make sure you use it. Get the one with the best accessories for your personal use. Electric start is nice to have if you are not very good at keeping your engines in maintained shape. Power drive is a must for the bigger machines and the larger snowfalls.

If you're looking to save some bucks, look on Craigslist for cheap sales. Sometimes people are moving, just need cash, or maybe have ones that fell off the back of a truck. Look online to see what it's worth, and offer less than 50%

The new Yamaha's are the most solid snowblowers money can buy. . but they are expensive.

As others have mentioned cant go wrong with a honda, I would never buy one with wheels , ive owned many and the tracked models are easier to maneuver in any storm.
