I just watched the movie last night. One of the most inspiring movies I've ever seen. I did a google search, and apparently there's a lot of controversy about the movie, and that it wasn't an accurate portrayal of what happened. Many people believe that he is guilty, and was set free because of procedural problems, not evidence.

Just wondering. The movie was great. But what I read kind of ruined it for me afterwards.

I looked into it years ago when the Bob Dylan song came out. Great song but i came to the conclusion it was just another leftist B.S. scam to show "the man" was trying to keep people down.

That was long before the internet so maybe there is some stuff out there now that would change my mind....but i doubt it..

I found the movie puzzling because in my mind 1) all blacks r guilty and 2) all pigs frame people

Guilty or not he couldn't have been "Champion of the world" as Bob Dylan claims in his song. With a record of 27 wins and 12 loses he wasn't exactly setting the boxing world on fire.
