Is that fucked up or what?

Im 99% sure this is the truth, but do you guys think this is normal?

Shouldnt friends want to see friends succeed?

Its sad but most friends and fam do not want you to be successful. I know this is not entirely true in every case but majority do not want you to win or be successful. Some of my closest friends were the most negative people when I was in the start up stage of my business. Almost none showed any type of support. Talking with other business owners, many of them experienced the same as me

It makes me want to just not talk to anyone anymore. I am aware that my "friends" dont want me to win. Believe me I am fully aware.

i think you need to be less in touch with your feelings. my friends and I will root against each other at times, its just ball busting. misery loves company, if i had a bad day picking games, last thing i want to hear is how my buddy tore it up to be honest. in a perfect world everyone would kill it, but sometimes its nice to know others are struggling with the grind just like you.

But the thing is the people I am talking about are successful people and lifelong friends. They want to see me fail. Its bizarre. Weve been friends since we were like 6 years old.

I dont get it.

no, your stuff sounds like just about everyone else i know, accept they just dont go on about it like a girl. shake the sand out of your vagina, grow a pair and gamble or just fucking quit, its not that hard. My buddy tells me he went to the casino after a night at the bars and loses $300 in 5 mins playing craps, my reaction, i laugh. Blow $1300 on an nfl teaser i laugh. They do the same thing when i do stupid shit, its called guys being guys. i was getting sick of the daily grind and decided today i was going to double my account or take a month or 2 off to have some nice peace n quiet, i split my account between 2 bets, and didnt even watch the games. went 2-0 and doubled up. do you know what i did after that, started the grind all over again and bet 4 more games at my normal wager sizes

Ok seriously though kidman, I have a question for you here

Do your best friends in life pretend to be on your side and yet they are secretly against you and wanting you to fail? Just answer that yes or no

You have no idea who you're talking to buddy. Lose 1300? HA

Ive won 15k over 10 days in a casino and given 7k of it back in 4 hours

And thats among one of the easier things I was just thinking about

when it comes to gambling, id say yes. most of my close friends gamble on sports. we all sort of got into it together one way or another. if they are not on the same bet as me, i think we call kind of hope the other one doesnt win to be honest, bc if it does win we are pissed we didnt follow the play and think about the money we could have won, and in our mind kind of proves to us that we were smart not to follow the play, and in some sick way justify's our ability to pick games to bet.

if my friend says hes betting $1200 on a 4 team college ml parlay to win 1200 and i dont throw any cash on it, i almost truly wishes it doesnt hit, bc i know all be pissed i didnt do the same bet, top it off if my own picks are doing bad, its twice as bad. last thing i want then is his texting me $1200 winner, free trip to vegas when im 3-7 on the day and down 400 etc

people who are not gamblers whether its sports or poker do not understand the grind and work that goes into it, most of them just view it as luck and not some form of skill/work. So when they view themselves as having to work hard for the money they have and then see someone else making money much easier than them (in their mind), it naturally pisses people off.

100% honest here and not being disrespectful but gambling is not for you. And there is nothing wrong with that at all. But it seems that you are WAY to emotionally invested in it. So far you have said you feel guilty when you win and all your friends want you to lose. These are some serious emotions and probably the pathway to happiness is not in this weeks lines for you.

It doesnt make you less of a man because you are not emotianally stable enough for gambling. Quit now while you have some sanity left.
