I need a new book. These folks called me and I see they are a sponsor here. I have not heard of them other than what appears t be sour grapes over at another forum. I just need some honest opinions as I don't want my money going down the drain.

Thanks

I think they are an okay book. They may be a little slow at putting out early lines for the weekend games but they are very quick at grading wagers and they have same day payouts 5 days per week. I would recommend them.

CS is so so, half the time whoever answers the phone is clueless. Grade fast, will find out about PO this wk, 1st WD. Very chickenshit when it comes to lines, totals (very few on hoops) TT, etc. They follow Pinny and shade their # accordingly. I guess they're honest, but I'd go to Heritage 1st. As to solvency,we'll find out after SB!! BOL

Hmm...I am a fairly large better. I had a bad experience with a book (remain nameless) where I had to wait a few months and endure multiple fees to get paid in small pieces. Sorry to keep asking questions, but are BIG payouts an issue here. Also, as this is an RX sponsored book, assume RX would do something for us if they went under???

yes, big payouts are an issue. You should not count on any help if they go under or just decide not to pay you.

Did he?

I have heard 15 versions of what happened. (as has everyone).

So who else has been stiffed, or slow paid?

Anyone?

Yes............not all believe such, but most all that are aware of the circumstances surrounding the case that play OR have played offshore in the past believe that the player was indeed stiffed by EZ....................

They may have stiffed others, but this one particular case is the only one that I'm aware of............................

Having stated all this, there are more than a few posters that still play at EZ and are enjoying their experience there and actually have no qualms about recommending them to others....................personally, I'm not in that camp.

IMO very very very few are. (including myself btw).

IMO the "real" story behind the scenes was never posted on any forum for a variety of reasons.

I have some things I THINK are true, and what really DID happen, but I can't prove it, and am only trying to piece things togather the best I am able.

What we DO KNOW, is Cory had a balance of +46k or so, requested a withdraw, was turned down. Ez then spent 30k+ that EYE KNOW of, when they had 5 people come to Costa Rica, and since that time has given away another 10K + (just an estimate) in various contest here, and other then Cory, has never stiffed a person, and pays out free once a week, and you can have your $ in a matter of hours.

Corey is not winning.

A lot of things are not going his way.
For instance, Corey camp, (attorneys and such) got pissed off at the judge because the judge ruled that the defendants attorneys that are from out of state did not have to be present, that they could represent via conference calls.

Apparently that did not sit well with team Cory.

Also, there were a couple of times Team Corey wanted extra time, the judge denied that.

For example

MINUTE ORDER granting in part and denying in part 9 Plaintiff's Motion to Vacate Scheduling Order and Convert to Status Conference. The Scheduling Conference set for 10/24/2011 is vacated. Status Conference set for 10/28/2011 at 9:30 AM in Courtroom A 501 before Magistrate Judge Michael E. Hegarty. By Magistrate Judge Michael E. Hegarty on 10/21/2011. (mehcd)

Not the slam dunk Team Corey thought it would be.

So the other side(s) do have lawyers who responded?

I assumed that they just laughed it off, and knew nothing would become of it.

Corey thought he would win his case by default, believing that EZ's attorneys would not show up in Colorado for various reasons, and he would be declared everything he was demanding by, like I said, default.

Boy, did that ever backfire.

I'm sifting though PACER now, trying to get the part where it says "attorneys can represent by conference call"

2 things about PACER

1) you have to pay (no much, but still)
2) tons of pages
