i understand running into the kicker happens, but thats the dumbest way for a ref to decide the game.

I was cheering for Wisconsin, but yea - that's one of the worst ways to win a game (or lose a game, if you're MSU). Really unfortunate they felt the need to throw that flag.

agree, however, the announcer made a good point, the player should not have even gotten close enough to make the ref throw the flag...set up a return, and get your offense on the field.......

football players are some of the dumbest people in this country. MSU has noone to blame but themselves. They had 3 chances to win that game. That kid made 2 big mistakes. He made a terrible play on that bomb on 4th down and then he did that stupid play.

Show me a super smart football player and I'll show you a hall of famer.

Just typical of MSU. HAHA my brother is a grad of MSU and he is so pissed at the players not the ref.

i just dont like punters and kickers being treated with kid gloves. you should be able to tackle a punter and kicker imo

Im so pissed supposed to go to game only if Mich ST wins, because of MSU group/alumni, I blame the coaching, hey MSU you ever hear of a SAFE PUNT formation, f... off, i realize it doesnt mean they would have won but what a way to end the game, ugggh

It was actually a punt safe, but Lewis was completely unblocked. You just can't even put yourself in that position if you are Lewis.

I have been hearing that the referees and the umpires and such have been making a lot of bad calls lately!
