Boise has a win over Georgia.

Kansas State has wins over Texas and Baylor.

Virginia Tech has 2 losses and 0 wins against current top 25 teams.

Makes sense... BCS fails again.

PS, Boise has Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl. Should be a decent game. Glad we at least got a BCS division team and now Tulane or whatever.

The only reason I'm even considering it is because it's in Vegas. I live down the street from the stadium and still watch the games on TV so I'm not a huge live football fan.

Saw this on the IdahoStatesman website. Not written by me, but makes sense. At least select Kansas State over Virginia Tech.

They lost to Clemson by an average of 24 points beat Miami by 3, BC, Wake, Duke by 4, UNC by 3, and played out of conference against Appalachian State, Arkansas State, East Carolina and Marshall. And they didn't play FSU in ACC play. They lost by 28 yesterday. Not a typo. 28.

hahahah bcs is a joke if the acc gets 2 teams in the bcs games....worst conf in football and they get 2 teams... gimme a break....rather see boise st in fact any team over vt....total joke vt gets BLASTED in their conf title game and still get a bcs at large....

College football should do an 8 team playoff. Top 8 ranked teams get in. The Winner of the Rose Bowl and the Fiesta bowl, play for the sugar bowl. Keep the bowls in it for all the other games too.

I am glad many of us could agree on what a sham this system is. I will make a case that Baylor, TCU, & Boise State were way more deserving of it than Virginia Tech.

Yea, if this is true, the BCS is really a joke. Why have the BCS standings if you are not going to use them except for the top 2 spots? Boise finished #7, K-State#8, VTech #11, Baylor #12and Michigan #13. But the Sugar Bowl selects VTech and Michigan to play and leaves the other 3 out. Obviously, only reason for these selections.....MONEY!!!!!!!! Something needs to be done to fix this system, because it sucks the way it is now...

The Cotton Bowl just announced Arkansas vs. Kansas State. Anyone else think it's a joke that a non-BCS game has 2 teams that are ranked higher than both of the teams in an actual BCS game?
