The Hoosiers are back ....!!!!

Sure nice to see a monumental win like this over the #1 team in the country...

It's been a long 4 years for the Hoosiers, and finally Crean got his guys in Bloomington, and got the depth he needed to start to compete....but it all came together a little quicker than i expected this year, when that 3 pointer went in at the buzzer, and the #1 team in the land went down....

Indiana moves to 9-0 now, and maybe we'll finally be ranked this coming week..:youmad:

no, you're right, i wouldnt have made a thread about a monumental win for the program, if they hadnt won....u got me there...

If the fans hadnt stormed the court, you wouldnt have made your thread either....

no. i knew they were back before the game. if they lost by 1 you still should've created this thread.

Too bad the Big 10 is loaded. They have a top 5 class for next year too. Should be happy for a while. I haven't seen a tourney game or winning record for iowa in like 5 years

well, after a dissapointing loss at Michigan State this week, blowing a 2nd half lead, the Hoosiers rebound in a big way by taking down #2 Ohio State..

first time in program history they beat a #1 and #2 in the same season...

another Huge Win for Tom Crean and the revamped Hoosiers....

Said to myself with about 3 minutes left in that game "Hoosiers remind me of my last years UConn's club"

Like UConn last year, Indiana preseason going in, wasn't supposed to do anything, and like UConn last year,Indiana started the season picking off ranked teams after ranked teams.

A lot of similarities between those two clubs

the loss to Michigan State will prevent that...had they won that game, they might have moved up to 7-8.........as is now, i think they'll end up around 11-12

Top 25 rankings in basketball are pretty much useless in the grand scheme of things. If you don't start in the top 10-15 in College FB, you are screwed, even if you have a great year because you are behind from the get go. They should'nt put out rankings in FB until at least 3 games into conference season.

up to #8 now.....highest ranking in many, many years.....

however, it could change quckly as we visit Columbus next week, and they'll for sure be looking for revenge....still it sure is nice to enjoy good basketball again

lousy loss last night, really takes some of the momentum away from last couple weeks.....you expect to lose a couple here and there on the road, and maybe at home to one of the top 1-2 teams in your conference, but to lose a game like this, to a struggling team, who isnt even a "tournament" team right now, kinda hurts.......and now have to go on the road to ohio state who'll definitely have revenge on their minds, could make for a rough week...

Oh well, hope they learn from it, and realize you have to get up for all the teams at home, not just the big dawgs that come to town...

Same as UConn last year, lost nine conference games, it's not how you do in January, it's how you do in March.
IU should be a sweet sixteen team come mid-March, dopey losses happen to everybody, with the exception of those UCLA teams, or that UNLV team...........
