Exactly the same as the old skinny French Fries, just thicker.
No difference except the girth.

There you have it, my official, in depth analysis of the new Burger King French Fries.

Roger That BillHill999. Really could not see how you could re invent the french fry any who. I still enjoy an occasional Whopper however. I even got an really good Fish Sandwhich several months back at my local BK. With the Whopper and Fish Sandwhich, you have to tell the BK employee lite mayo or lite tarter sauce respectively and your sandwhich is not so sloppy.

Yeah I have gotten some nasty BK Fish Sandwiches in the past but since my local BK has changed managers the quality of the food has increased. If the managerial change had not occured, the personal boycott would still be on. Actually since gall bladder surgery, I usually just settle for a sandwhich fading the fries and go about my business. My system seems to thank me for this self discipline and everyone in the Boland Household reeps the benefits. The BK here in Upstate SC since the manager change actually has a blistering lunchtime business with both the lobby and drive through briming with customers. They really have a monopoly on the burger business on that particular stretch of the highway.

We must have been in the test market cus we've had the new fries for at least 2 months now. When they make a change its only for 1 or 2 reasons. Govt regulations or because they can make them cheaper.
In this case its a lil bit of both. As you can tell from McD's when u cook the old fries in the new Govt mandated oils they turn hard as rock within 30 mins or so. So what they have done at BK is to make them lighter.....
the individual fries themselves seem to have very little inside them. Not sure how to explain it but the amount of actual potato you are getting is less than it would be with the old fries. They are bigger in size but since they have no volume they seem to hold their oil a lil longer and therefore dont turn to wood in 30 mins like McD's. But as long as my dog still eats them i dont really care. i eat the burger, the dog gets the fries and my grandson gets the drink. That way i feed us all on 1 combo...lol

If they make the whopper any damn smaller though im gonna give them up too. SOB is might be a hair bigger than a QP'r if its any bigger at all. At $7 its a pretty big rip-off if ask me..

Burger King fries have always sucked. I never eat BK cause of the fries and the slow service. Swear to God it's like 10+ minutes to get through their drive through.

Hopefully the new fries are an improvement over their old shit-sticks. However now that I read the above posts maybe they're so nasty cause the oil stinks of old fried fish. Blech.

I think the concept you're reaching for is called "density".

Those are nice for sure.

Bad thing is sometimes I need a double flusher if it has been a while since I have gone. Standing up to set it off and then sitting back down can get messy.

new fries are amazing at Buger King..they have a new coating on them that deflects the oil makes them crispier without the negative health. Really great fires now much the best of fast food..
