i think i wouldve definitely said something to the perp, than get kid away and protect him, than call the police. Man could not imagine..........................i mean everyone's seen some sort of violence, death, gore, life-endangering situations and what not that stick in our brains forever think its called..........memory, yeah that's it but back to the topic. I mean noboby knows how they would react unless they have been through it, whatever thing or event that it is but i would have to say that would have to be the very very last thing that you think would happen in a top caliber D-1 program's FB lockeroom. what does everyone else feel about this feel free to chime in

This story has made more adults aware of the correct actions to take and as a result I think more adults will act accordingly - God forbid they should ever encounter this type situation. Here in this forum overflowing with testosterone, I like to think we all would have punched Sandusky's lights out. I am sure I would have.

Side nacho - I had fun reading this thread title 5 times before figuring out what you were asking. It's like a mini rubic's cube. The "quantum leaped" part really escaped me. I was thinking a quantum leap was your description on McQuery attacking Sandusky for the first 4 reads and it just didn't make sense. The last attempt... I got it. You meant the old show quantum leap... time travel.

lol yup u got was a pretty good show, some good episodes some shitty ones, the good thing was you could pretty much tell if it was gonna be a good episode right when he was transported to the other person just depended on the person and where they were at kinda liked the one when he was a soldier in the middle of a ragin firefight think it was nam or WWII.

I wonder what a 50 year old Joe Paterno would have done after McQueary told him what happened. The 75 year old Paterno didn't act rationally because his mind was no longer capable of making the right decision. That being, go to the Police. Instead Joe just passed the buck and never followed up. McQueary is a worthless human being who should have gone in there and rescue the boy. I think when he saw what he was witnessing he went in to shock. He probably didn't believe what his eyes were seeing. Once he contacted Paterno he was no longer responsible as to what happened after that. Just like the boys who were assaulted his life is over. He will never get a decent job. If he would acted he would have been a hero and probably could have had his pick of jobs in College Football. The two adminstrators who covered this up are going to jail unless their defense attorney can prove what they were told wasn't close to what actually happened. There is a definitely a chance of reasonable doubt because there are so many versions of what McQueary said. The most important thing is that Sandusky dies in prison. From natural causes or otherwise. He should never see the light of day again unless he is looking out of his jail cell window.

The Joe Paterno was too old excuse is bullshit. He was young enough to supposedly lead a team so in my eyes he is old enough to know how to handle news like he received. I'm not sure exactly what I would have done if I were mcqueary, but I can tell you what I wouldn't have done. I wouldn't have peaked around the corner a few times and then called my daddy before I did anything...Paterno is Mcqueary are about as big of cowardly pansies as I can think of. Sandusky is just a sick fuck and I hope he dies a slow death

Bottom line is they were all thinking what's in their best interest rather than a 10 yr old boy getting bent over in the shower by a sick fuck...Fuck Penn st
